Ive been building this base and another one of yours almost every wipe since the videos come out. Surprisingly fun to defend in, RARELY gets raided, and everyone I meet generally loves the bases. Wish you'd make some newer designs! Big fan

this is basically my main style of starter. i do a 3 floor tower with living on 1st floor, tc and storage on 2nd, and battery plus bed 3rd. i am going to check out your other videos and see what else we have in common build wise
Very nice! I find the more I play the less fun it is to live is a meta base. Abstract or role play bases just make the experience much cooler and less stressful

I tried vanilla for the first time today and I wasn't like, let down. It just didn't feel fun. It felt mad depressing lol could've bee cause I was solo fr though. Great build! It's adorable cozy and was waiting for the buld the whole time but I knew after you looked at the painting that you wanted to show off your work, love it! Got any ideas on how to get a spilling flood light light house going?
Vanilla is harsh, I recommend a community run, med pop like 150 max, I like the challenge of potentially losing stuff and defending against all the pond life's in the map :) but pure vanilla high pop is soul destroying !! Light house using flood lights, tricky to rotate the light nicely with electrics as cant get it smooth, but feasible with some caveats :)
Sweet fun base mate 👌👌 love these fun designs... I've learnt no matter how big or meta your base is there's always someone who will have enough to raid it, so why not just have fun ✌️

Hey thanks for the design! I love how RP it looks, I created my own similar variation with a few secrets (secret suicide bunker, hidden lootroom…) and it’s perfect to avoid attracting attention and also tanky! Thanks
I'm currently playing your Base on an 150 Pop Server and so far the RP Character prevented me from being raided :D But I altered a little bit: added two more floors to the tower, one for Batterie (so i could place my TC in your batterie Slot, to wall it of with HQM and a Windows, instead of the one Stone Wall at the Main Lootroom) and another one on the top with open Door Frames (like your top floor, but without the Shopfronts) to fit Solar Panels. I needed that space because i did the roof thing on the complete 2x3, so i was able to fit a full size Farm and 2 Beds in my cozy little roof chamber :) I also extended the wood foundations in the front of the Base, adding space for some Sunchairs and other RP Stuff, as well as a Fridge to offer Food for visitors (with a wooden sign, telling them to not take all, pls :D - so far they didn't) It's a lot fun to play with this non-meta Base, tough we are playing the wipe serious.
good build and it looks cool. i honestly hate when people speed build and play music tho. i get that it's probably to shorten the video but im not tryna watch in .5 speed to try and see where u placed foundations.
Yes many said the same when I published that vid, I don't do it on others now :). I did it because my YT stats were showing people skipping through the build section fast lowering view time so thought speed was what people wanted. Lesson Learned! :D. Thanks for the comment!
Sorry about that, many have said the same, was trying to shorten the video at the time as was getting too long, but was a mistake. The subsequent base videos I've done, I've kept at a sane speed!! :)
Thanks trying to build this at your fast speed is impossible. I’d prefer a longer video to be able to build this or a shorter tour. I’ll be looking out for slower build videos. Thanks
Before you add the doorframe put a half wall where the frame will go in twig, the put a triangle on top and turn to stone, destroy the twig half wall, put your frame in as normal door etc.. et voila :)
Haha I used an app called rustangelo on steam, it takes freaking ages (that sign took around 2 hours from memory). Results vary from looking decent to absolute toilet!!!
@@VCNickels Yep works fine in vanilla, used it many times, photos you cant paste directly but rustangelo analyses a photo or pic and actually takes over the mouse and draws it as you would manually. I've been done in many times during trying to complete a painting on the outside, or of starvation :) Simple basic pictures work best.

Yep, from 11:20 in the video, I did have it going through quite fast though as some have commented so you may have to slow down the playback at times if needed. Enjoy!

I love K.I.T.T ❤️ 5:35 I got to sit in the actual car used in the show as a kid. Best childhood memory of my life. I found this video because I just started to play rust on PC for the first time. Had it on ps5 and had a blast but was told the true experience is on PC so I upgraded my rig and a friend bought me the game and I have to say I'm really enjoying the view on the beaches ⛱️. I love diving for scrap and I love RP base design that can be functional. I will sub and keep an eye out for future videos.

That was mainly done to show the ideas and also due to viewers normally dropping off at the build part, that said it's good to hear all points and will assess the speed up time in the next one 👍

I know its true, was a bad decision on my part, many mentioned the same when I published it, as I had it set too fast to reduce vid time. Videos since this one I have not done this way.
As blunt as this is you are right :D. I know the sped up part was too fast and skimmed over as other posts mentioned too. Will be finding a happy balance in future vids.

10/10 base design, highly configurable as to where you want your lootrooms/tc and such for max protection

I like that it’s compact and secure with resource upgrade, but also roleplay worthy.
It wasn't easy for me to follow, but then again I'm a newbie. I love this boat base design. Will probably keep using it every wipe.

A seperate circuit for the tower lights so they would alternate in a circle would be pretty cool i guess

Tried to use the small planters in the attic and they can't receive water unless I put a half wall where the roofs go. I'm a little sad about that :(

... how did you get your sign to look so neat? When I paint on the sign it looks like a monkey had thrown shit that vaguely resembles text.
