hi Kevin...awesome new toys i love the drive in...that grain facility is fantastic...great scene "war of the worlds" very cool to see you doing a live stream...looking forward to it... vinny
Hi Kevin. Love the new additions. I’m looking forward to seeing how you use the bridges. The drive in is really neat too. And how creative the war of the worlds module is. Hey btw thanks for hosting the 5th Tuesday for us. If you have time and want to use streamyard as sparky suggested(it’s a free streaming service) I would suggest getting with Wilmer. He did a nice job walking thru it with me. We did a live private test run on there prior to my first show on it. If he is unable, I may be able to help as well. See ya Tuesday the 29th.
Thanks for the info. Wilmer has already helped out quite a bit with Streamyard. It looks pretty easy, and kind of reminds me of running a Zoom meeting. If Wilmer and my schedules line up, he has offered to run me through a test. If that doesn't work out, I may take you up on your kind offer - Kevin
Green Acres it is. Actually, I the farm scene I plan on modelling will be based on my grandpa Brown's farm. The equipment he used were practically antiques, so a Hoyt-Clagwell tractor would have been right at home.
@@kevinbrown104 Sounds a lot like my grandfather, we still used horses in the garden until the mid-80s when he could no longer keep up with them and I was leaving home. We had 2 cylinder John Deeres for other work around the farm and for tractor shows.
if you use streamyards for your live show,, it is super simple , and if you want to have others come up and chat too about your subject, you just have to click on share,, use the copy button and you can share ( paste ) that in the chat or email the link to others that you want to join you.. just a thought, if it helps ya out great,, if not then maybe someone else will get a idea as to do live streams as well.. see you on Tuesday
Question about your semi-permanent t-trak layout. When/if you ever need to get to the wiring under the modules, do you have to disconnect the module and flip it over, or do you have a way of reaching the wiring through the benchwork to the bottom of the modules? I have 8 modules that I want to setup in a semi-permanent fashion, but I am still working on them, so I will need to access the bottom. Trying to understand what others have done.
I just disconnect the tracks between the modules, and tip them up to disconnect the wiring. I have never had access underneath the modules, but this method works quite well. For example, the layout down in Staunton was disassembled in this fashion, and packed in vehicles in about 20 minutes. Hope that helps - Kevin

So are you going to add a farm named "Green Acres"? Your Hoyt-Clagwell tractors would be good there.
