i dont care what who says but we all know for sure damn well that Pomu is the backbone of the whole NIJI EN branch while Selen serves as NIJI EN's Dark Defender. Both have rendered so many merits for the company just to get shot in the back.
The Lazulight MV for Virtual to Live is definitely up there as one of my favorite VTubing moments. Sending an acryllic stand up to space and then celebrating Lazulight's first anniversary with a final chorus that included all of NijiEN at the time was just so good.

Mel's sudden termination and Selen all but guaranteed to be gone after this just makes this even worse. I don't think the graduations will stop sadly. Most of the big vtubers have been for 5 years or longer now. That's over half a decade. It wouldn't surprise me if we see anymore pillars of the community graduating this year.

@@Yiman Considering that Selen was already discharged from the hospital, I think she's physically ok for now. I'm more worried about her mental well-being. The timing of it immediately after getting screwed over by management combined with her needing to be granted access back to phone implies that she likely either punched the wall way too hard... or worse... The fact Mumei, one of her closest friends and an irl friend of her's is also on hiatus while this is going on is also cause for speculation in my eyes. I'm sure Mumei has her own reasons for taking a break too, but I do think that she's being there Selen right now behind the scenes.
I honestly just hope they do what's right for them and don't feel that they owe the fans something. They have already given so much to their fans, I think their fans should support them in whatever the livers wish to do. Pomu braved her fears, quit her stable job, and going all in on Niji. There, she uses her talents to bloom NijiEN to its full glory. It's unfortunate that Niji is an ingrateful and unrepentant sweatshop. NijiEN is never gonna recover from this. It's now just a thread's away from a collapse. You know, Selen and maybe Rosemi for the girls' side.
There'll never be another Vtuber quite like Pomu. She's so sincere, and funny. Super skilled singer, too. Sad to see her go, but, I'm glad we got to experience her streams.

Even till the very end, she released a beautiful last MV, Pomu is truly a unique kind of human that will always be remembered by us, the ones who were able to witness her beautiful career, it was truly 2 years full of beautiful memories. I’m the type that doesn’t read an manga/watch an Anime until it’s ‘completed’. I’ve kind of surface watch Vtuber clips and have vague ideas of who these people are but man, sure hits different when you get to know the lore and history. I like when they graduate because people pump out these documentary esk videos. No wonder she was so loved and respected, those are some impressive feats and accomplishments. I honestly didn’t really like her model and the clips I saw didn’t capture my interest too much but now I see her in a new light. If she changes company and gets a new model, when the news finally trickles to me, I’ll support her this time. She deserves it~

After her graduation today, I remember Lazulight debuting on one of my lowest days, watching them was one of the few rays of sunshine I got slogging through the days and I understand why they have a deep apprecation in my heart, the person behind Pomu is alive and well I'm aware of that fact, but the Pomu Rainpuff fairy persona is gone forever, I hope we got to hear her voice again if not I believe in utmost absolute she is gonna ace whatever she do.
Next video: How Pomu and Selen's end spells NijiEN's downfall. I followed NijiEN because of Millie; I stayed because of their dynamics with everyone in EN; it felt different when people graduates one by one; and it became clear NijiEN is so different without Pomu; and it became worse when Selen was "terminated". Now I'm having fun with Mint, and even better when Mint and Doki finally reunited.
I love Pomu and am definitely gonna miss her. But all good things must come to an end eventually. Goodbye to our big PP fairy, I hope she's happy wherever she ends up.
Pomu is THE BOSS. One thing that i learn from her is that: If something good happens , learn from it and sherish that moment if something bad happens, learn from it and enjoy it. Thank you for making this I didnt join her fanbase until about a year+ ago and didnt know much about the history and struggles of Pomu. This brought me a newfound respect for her and the effort she put into her work

I've known Pomu for a long time but as someone who hasn't actively followed her activities and watched her streams, your video greatly highlighted her efforts and how big of an impact she left for Niji EN. I'm now a bit sad that I wasn't able to be a supportive fan of her while she was active.
It still feels like an early April Fools prank, but I gotta learn this is real. Pomu was one of the first En members, it's definitely a harder one to see go. But regardless, I wish her luck and happiness in whatever she has planned.
I missed a ton of her streams as I was always at work around the time. These past two weeks I did my best to catch every stream. I even saw her finish Pokemon Black with nothing but Chandalure! I normally wake up at noon, but I woke up at 11am just to catch her last stream. I thought it was just going to be an hour long, but it was almost 11 hours! No tears-well until the end. The entire stream was the most entertaining thing I have ever watched! I have two+ years of vods to catch up on, after I stop crying every time I so much as hear Pomu Rainpuff. It's videos like these that absolutely break my heart documenting the legacy a content creator that I wasn't an active fan of. They fully put into perspective all the incredible experiences that I've missed out on and which now exist only in the memory of all of you who are watching your Oshi graduate. You all have my sypathies, friends.
I never saw any of her clips or vids until she announced her graduation, but even though I had no knowledge of her it still makes me sad that she’s leaving. It’s like I’m saying goodbye to a friend that I never knew, and I regret not being along for the ride while it lasted

I only just started watching Vtubers within the past few months. I feel like there is a mountain of lore, chaos, jokes, memes, and memories I have to catch up on. And already Pomu is graduating before I even got to discover her. Within seconds of watching one of her post-announcement streams for the first time, I immediately knew someone truly special was leaving. I can only hope she may return some day, either reincarnated or resurrected, one way or another, I'd love to have the opportunity to support her. On the bright side of things, we will always have Ironmouse. She will keep Vtubing until the day she dies.
Honestly Pomu will go down in history as someone that was charismatic, funny and had one of the best energy ever. Pomu paved a legacy for herself. She worked her ass off in Niji and man is she an incredible entertainer. Pomu was absolutely a pillar for Niji and I really really enjoyed watching her. She's kept me company and entertained for an uncountable amount of hours when I'm on the road. Just hearing her have a good time takes a tremendous load off while working 16 hour days and only being home two nights a week. We're going to miss you Pomu, and I'm proud to declare myself a Pomudachi. She's one of the friends I've never met, but I'll always cherish. I'm glad she escaped the collapsing hellscape that is Niji EN, and I hope we see her again in much better circumstances. But if not, God bless you Pomu and enjoy the success that you continue to create for yourself. I’m the type that doesn’t read an manga/watch an Anime until it’s ‘completed’. I’ve kind of surface watch Vtuber clips and have vague ideas of who these people are but man, sure hits different when you get to know the lore and history. I like when they graduate because people pump out these documentary esk videos. No wonder she was so loved and respected, those are some impressive feats and accomplishments. I honestly didn’t really like her model and the clips I saw didn’t capture my interest too much but now I see her in a new light. If she changes company and gets a new model, when the news finally trickles to me, I’ll support her this time. She deserves it~

After her graduation today, I remember Lazulight debuting on one of my lowest days, watching them was one of the few rays of sunshine I got slogging through the days and I understand why they have a deep apprecation in my heart, the person behind Pomu is alive and well I'm aware of that fact, but the Pomu Rainpuff fairy persona is gone forever, I hope we got to hear her voice again if not I believe in utmost absolute she is gonna ace whatever she do.
Love Pomu and Lazulight as a whole it was great to see them grow and move on to better things I remember Lazulight first minecraft stream
after what happened with all the graduations and the constant bs at nijisanji, she knew what was best for her. we lost one great, but gained another.

I've known Pomu for a long time but as someone who hasn't actively followed her activities and watched her streams, your video greatly highlighted her efforts and how big of an impact she left for Niji EN. I'm now a bit sad that I wasn't able to be a supportive fan of her while she was active.
It still feels like an early April Fools prank, but I gotta learn this is real. Pomu was one of the first En members, it's definitely a harder one to see go. But regardless, I wish her luck and happiness in whatever she has planned.
I missed a ton of her streams as I was always at work around the time. These past two weeks I did my best to catch every stream. I even saw her finish Pokemon Black with nothing but Chandalure!
I normally wake up at noon, but I woke up at 11am just to catch her last stream. I thought it was just going to be an hour long, but it was almost 11 hours!
No tears-well until the end. The entire stream was the most entertaining thing I have ever watched!

It's videos like these that absolutely break my heart documenting the legacy a content creator that I wasn't an active fan of. They fully put into perspective all the incredible experiences that I've missed out on and which now exist only in the memory of all of you who are watching your Oshi graduate. You all have my sypathies, friends.

I only just started watching Vtubers within the past few months. I feel like there is a mountain of lore, chaos, jokes, memes, and memories I have to catch up on.
And already Pomu is graduating before I even got to discover her. Within seconds of watching one of her post-announcement streams for the first time, I immediately knew someone truly special was leaving. I can only hope she may return some day, either reincarnated or resurrected, one way or another, I'd love to have the opportunity to support her.
On the bright side of things, we will always have Ironmouse. She will keep Vtubing until the day she dies.

Pomu paved a legacy for herself. She worked her ass off in Niji and man is she an incredible entertainer. Pomu was absolutely a pillar for Niji and I really really enjoyed watching her. She's kept me company and entertained for an uncountable amount of hours when I'm on the road. Just hearing her have a good time takes a tremendous load off while working 16 hour days and only being home two nights a week. We're going to miss you Pomu, and I'm proud to declare myself a Pomudachi. She's one of the friends I've never met, but I'll always cherish. I'm glad she escaped the collapsing hellscape that is Niji EN, and I hope we see her again in much better circumstances. But if not, God bless you Pomu and enjoy the success that you continue to create for yourself. I'm so grateful for Pomu and what she has achieved and brought us the last 5 years. She laid an foundation no one else could. She pushed on to perceive her dreams and what she wanted to do for her fans and i respect her greatly for that. Long live Pomu and the Pomudachis!!!
