I had one on preorder when first released. Cancelled the order after I saw a few problem videos. Honestly, I configured a Slash to be almost the same thing at half there cost. Baja bug body and BFG All terrains. Very cool
why haven't you done the Vitavon bell crank yet ? I literally just bent all four of my driveshafts, lol. I have the Vitavon spur installed already. the bell crank + hubs and knuckles will be next
Sup man! Do you know when the WFO gears will come back on stock for the x maxx? Or anyone who sells any? can’t find any and I can pay a pretty penny for a set.
It doesn't matter how much grease you put in there. It's never going to visibly stay on the gears. The gears spin and sling basically all of the grease off but that's okay because it only takes a microscopic film of grease to keep them lubricated. You really just need enough grease to wet the gears and that's it. Anything else just makes a mess.
Idk man. My gears were totally dry at the contact points. What I’d like to see, and it would take a lot of work to get, is wet sump gearboxes. I kinda did that on the Vitavon LMT trans. I mixed a similar compound grease with shock oil and I’m hoping it flows enough to at least wet them before each run.
My birthday is coming up, I'll have the money for a new rc and I think I might pick this up. Opinions on it? And if not this what is like it that is more durable? ty
it is a pleasure to have you on our channel !!! I hope you like the extreme trial we do in Spain, that is with a lot of material imported from the USA
Just ordered one in my dreams… it came the same day. Along with the Vitavon parts pre installed. Woke up and started a go fund me.
That gear box is georgeous
Use Fast Eddy grease on your gears ⚙ it really sticks to the gears without falling off.
Used fast eddy on a transmission and it flung it off in just a few packs, Lucas Oil red and tacky holds up for years and stays on the gears.
Wish vitavon had some axle housings for element
Amazing parts
Nice mr Exo ✊🏽 Tha lazy-Nut 🤣😂
These videos make me want one so bad but I can't afford it lol
Yeah this thing almost REQUIRES another $500 in mods to be durable. You’re wise to avoid it.
@@ExocagedRC yeah 500 in stuff to make it decent then another 500 or more to make it "mine." A vs410 is the wiser option imo
@@ExocagedRC Hmm sounds like the Ryft lol

Yes they do the same to me
Rebuilt with Vitavon and what do you know? It became a tank! Thanks for the intro into the serious manchild world of Vitavon!
The ebay chassis plates might be in your future with all them slaps! 😎✌️

Well I haven’t seen a need for it so far. I tightened the stock one down and it’s been good.
@@ExocagedRC okay, im gonna try to tighten mine down first

@@ExocagedRC Lucas Oil Red and tacky is the only grease to stay put on fast spinning parts in my experience.
Is there a crawler with independent suspension?
summit
how much does this weigh?

As stated above you should put another 500 into it to make it durable. Keep that in mind its a 1k to $1200 rc.
@@fritzdallmann2139 Seems to be a common theme with the vehicles i buy. I'll think about it. Might get a arrma instead 🤔
If you are looking for durable traxxas xmax
Don’t. You’d be better off with something more durable. Unless you just really want to throw a ton of money getting it to hold up.
@Andrew H. thanks. I just might. They're reasonably priced and I want a basher.
