These lessons are based on AUA Thai Program beginner courses, which used the Automatic Language Growth (ALG) approach developed by Dr. J. Marvin Brown and inspired in part by Dr. Stephen Krashen's ideas and research on comprehensible input.
This lesson is based on the Thai lesson in the video Careers (Thai Conversation Café ft. Understand Thai: Absolute Beginner Intro Course) on the channel Comprehensible Thai: • Careers (Thai Conversa...
Comprehensible English (English Comprehensible Input for ESL Beginners) is creating videos that beginning English learners can easily understand and acquire English from just by watching and listening, no matter what language they speak, even if they don't know any English at all yet.
The videos make English comprehensible to beginners and help learners acquire English using techniques from methods and approaches such as Stephen Krashen's Natural Approach, Automatic Language Growth (ALG), Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling (TPRS), and Total Physical Response (TPR).
The aim is to teach English in English through a natural approach of helping learners acquire English implicitly, without translation, without explicit teaching of grammar and vocabulary, and without conscious study or practice.

Hi teacher Cristian, it's always a pleasure listening to your lesson.
I want to thank you from heart for all your work you are making.
Sadly at the moment I feel very sad because my English doesn't improve as I would want. When I listen to your lesson I can almost understand everything, also without subtitles, but if I watch a movie I am lost😔 what do you think? I am really too old for learning a new language?🙏🙏🙏 Greetings from Italy 🇮🇹

Hi Letizia, sorry for the late reply to this comment. Keep going! I don't think you are too old to learn. It takes time to improve in a language. Movies are often quite difficult to understand, even for native English speakers sometimes. For example, in many movies people speak unclearly and there are a lot of other sounds and noise. If you want to watch content made for native speakers, I would recommend TV series. Look for shows that you find interesting that have a lot of dialog that is spoken more clearly. You can also search for English RUclips videos and channels about topics that you like to find people talking about them. Hope this helps! Best, Kristian

Thank you for your hard work! Bring us so many videos to learn English. Is there any way to divide the video with different difficulty? I want to find i+1 that suits me

Hi Grace, I'll try to sort the videos by level more later. Right now I would suggest that you check out the different videos and see which ones you find interesting and easy enough to understand. If you really like a video, you can watch it again, either right away, or later, after you've watched other videos.

Turn x2 speed, if it still easy for you, go to watch any cartoons, if cartoons also easy, go to watch TV series/ movies / RUclips channels on any different topics what you like, if it also easy, congratulations, you already learn English!
