Thank you. I played 45 years ago but did not start back again until 2 years ago. So many great songs passed me by. And I am learning all over. Watching this was very simple to watch, to actually SEE how you were making the chords, the strumming and the picking parts. Anxious to start practicing.

Thanks for the great intro with cool bass lines! This really cops the FEEL!! I'll play this intro before I play the main part with all the chords voiced around the 7th fret for a Latin Jazz feel. This is a fantastic tune to play on a single acoustic guitar. I'll try to figure out a simple chord-melody type solo one of these nights. Thanks again for a great lesson.

I'm just reading Roger Daltrey's biography so I'm going through a bit of a Who period at the moment. I also like open tunings if you're thinking about doing any of the music by Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin etc - probably more acoustic than electric, or songs that can be played on both. Some of the more recent music from bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers are also good.

Hi David, I've been allready studing guitar for long time and it's always good to find the evolutions of the friends out there in every where, I could say that the musician have souls with music. Just a little story about me, I live in Brazil, started in the music in 86 with acousti nylon guitar, after a little long time I moved to steel string e eletric guitar, I found some dificults in the beginig but I neve desist, the change is a little hard but as I told, I won't desist and I'll keep going, yjanks fo the message friend and it is preasure to meet a new friend also, never forget, music bring good minds and a lot os sensibilitie to the world, these world don't want any war, just peace. right on Claudio - keep at it and keep rocking. For sure its challenging at times but you can do it. I visited Brazil about 13 years ago and I loved it there. I was in Salvador for Carnival but also went surfing in Buzios and visited Rio also - what a beautiful country - I had such an amazing time there and hope to go back some time in the future. Good key to play it in but one thing I would change is the first bm in the verse would be better to replace with open E then to the Cmaj7...it works better for the singing melody.

@@EpicGuitarInstruction your instructions are great. I'm referring to the intro part when you start with the Em the the second time the E doesn't sound right to me.
So I started learning this song with help from you, and I realized also, the Cmaj for the chorus sounds weak so I investigated and found that the Cmaj7 is better for the chorus.
Anyway your great and I like your idea for the intro, you have motivated me to finally learn this song.

I do believe you are right. You can use the Bm there and it sounds ok, but the D6 sounds more correct.
