I went to roatan in a stop during a cruise, brought my diving gear with me and that was the best decision of that trip. The life in that coral OMG, so many species of fish, coral, fish sizes. Water clear. Best cruise stop so far.

Went to Roatan in 2017 to dive and it was amazing. I went back in May 2024 and the people still super friendly but the diving definitely not as good as it used to be.
On some of my recend dives...barely any fish left on the reefs. It is definitely not as good as it was 5 years ago 😢

Anthony’s Key is my favorite place to stay. Great resort. My favorite place to snorkel is “Turtle Alley”. My favorite memory is snorkeling with a turtle. I was on top of the water, slowly swimming and the turtle was much lower in the water, keeping an eye on me so we weren’t separated from each other. We swam like that for a very long time. Magical!
