    Since Burma was also under the British rule... so I guess those old buildings are made by the British/ English. Very beautiful city indeed.

    • @ArtThomyaJourney
      @ArtThomyaJourney  6 лет назад +3

      Yes, Shourov, the buildings in downtown Yangon were built in Colonial Era, about 150 years ago.

    Wow, that's a nice part of Yangon. Maybe I can get a "summer" home there! :D
    Your co-host speak English very well. Are they western educated then go back to Myanmar and get positions with the government and businesses?

      Thanks for the compliment for my friends. All my friends are native of Yangon. They were born and brought up in their home country, but they are hard-working, so they could speak good English. We joined the Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Program together. It is an exchange program to promote international understanding.

      Thanks for watching, Drones are prohibited in government areas and tourist attractions. For my videos, I received permission from Myanmar government in filming. If you are not sure, try asking officers in each specific place. Enjoy your trip!
