Oooo, king fish are a favorite of mine. We pickle it and it’s delicious. I’m dying to catch one. It would be my “pride” fish. I’ve caught sharks, rays and various species of fish but not the one that’s at the TOP of my list. Our boat is currently not working. My husband MUST take me to catch at least one as we both enjoy eating it. He’s a Chef at Opal Sands and he actually uses my pickling recipe when he cooks for the cafeteria and they LOVE it, there’s tons of onions in it. Oh sweetie wait until you hit 50, I’m about to turn 53 the first week of November.🙁 WOW, that Cobia is a stud. Woo hoo🎉 That fish is gorgeous. Most people turn their nose up to King Fish…..NOT ME.😁 There’s NOTHING wrong with bonus fish. I wish I had smellovision too. My mouth is watering.🤤 Awesome video. Keep up the great work. I really enjoy your videos. Tfs. Have a great afternoon.🤗

It took between 45min and an hour to land him. No gaff, net not big enough. Wore him out enough to where we could get his head in the net and the other guy rolled him in the boat. My forearms were in knots!

Honestly felt like your other videos had better color to them.. this videos color was way off except the last scene with you guys at the kitchen table eating.. stay with what works, everyone watches your videos cause they like what you do, don’t change that.. keep up the good work tug and fam

Hey Tug, I love all of your videos but this one was the worst filming that I’ve seen. I know everyone has to start somewhere but not good to have them start on your channel. You & your wife shoot great content & quality. It was zoomed way too close and was also very shaky. I still gave you a Like because it cost money for you to make these videos. Keep doing what you do! Love it!!

I like all your videos. This one was different. Just think it needs a little tweaking. Reminds me of an old home movie. Brightness needs some work. Great fish by the way. I've heard when cleaning Cobia, take the head off first. It makes it easier to filet.

I personally like the way it was edited today.
I'm no fish monger but I cut the heads off the cobia before I fillet them.

Yeah I definitely should have. I don’t deal with many Cobia.

So I watch a few other fishers take the large carcass to spoon out the rest for poke and ceveche as well as the collar and throat. Have you ever tried that just curious. Love your videos and tight lines!!
