the second movie sorta depressed me as a kid because i still remembered the first. lol i was actually missing anne marie and the orphan puppies and their mother and all of them. even the atmosphere of the movie was different. the first movie took place in new orleans, the second takes place in san francisco. the first movie is better, in my opinion
Reason it felt so different was because none of the production team who did the first came back new director and writers too plus the passing of Anne Marie’s VA which is the reason she’s not in it and Burt was too busy on other movies and the Mother from the puppies was Burt’s Wife Loni Anderson she declined to come back as her character cause Burt wasn’t in it

They portrayed heaven as something SO boring I couldn't help but keep that idea in my mind while I grew. lol BTW, I freaking LOVE the second movie. I think the OST is way better than the first movie, I like the villain much better too.
