I know this is an older video but these were my first boot I ever bought… I’ve had them for 3 years and wear them at least 2 to 3 times a week and I still love them! I can wear them for hours without my feet hurting.
I have the black suede/rough out version. They were not as stiff as these ones seem to be. I think mine are pretty good in the comfort level as well. Good kickers for sure.
Great review! Can see you are Rambler hesitant 😂 Some of us just love it. I’d recommend buying it in a store to get the fit right. I go with a size smaller… I love them!
Just bought a used pair at my local thrift store for $40 still in great shape just needed a good cleaning, happy with the way they feel, looks wise the toe does look beefier then my other boots and a little wider too overall good boots so far
I have these. Love them. Super comfortable and perfect for everyday wear. Because of some of the points you made about appearance and the lining I am considering adding a new pair of boots to my closet with a couple improvements over this model.
do the boots make hard noise when walking on, for example, wooden floors or something? like it sounds like it's wood against wood? I think you get what I mean
I know I’m comin’ in a little late on this one, but catching up on back videos, (I’m 60 years old and bought my first pair of cowboy boots three weeks ago and fell in love with the look). Anyhow ... these boots look better on the feet than they do out of the box. The toe box looks good, and your pant legs cover the crudeness of the uppers. Pretty good look with jeans.
I bought a pair from Cavender's. They didn't come nicely packaged like ones in the video. The box was smashed and there wasn't any kind of cardboard on the inside. Basically the boots thrown in the box. The boots are really cool looking, great color i was disappointed to see they were glued. For me used to new balance shoes they are hard (of course) but comfortable enough. Looking forward to getting them broken in. Like i said they are very cool looking through.
I swear, if the discovery channel did a show on cowboy boots and their history they should have you voice it haha. Radio voice for sure! Great video and good honest review. It seems like those boots would be good s*** kickers for doing work in.
S1ck3ms games I’ve had then for like 2 years now I believe, and they are durable. I went to France for two weeks, and these were the only shoes I brought. And for everyday from 8:00 am, to like 6:00 pm, I would walk with these boots. They were comfortable and durable the whole way.
Found your channel after looking up some dan post reviews and let me tell you, you save me alot of guessing i am an Ariat customer all my boots minus my work boots are all ariat even my lady has hwr 2 ariats i bought her
I just don’t got my Ariat ramblers in the mail today from Airat definitely a different fit like you said there going to take some getting use too I see that
Jeremiah Craig. I will be looking forward to it. I know a lot of people don’t like ariats. Some people at my school make fun of me for just wearing cowboy boots.
I got some Cody James boots for my birthday. I think you can only order them from boot barn because it’s their brand. They are the best looking boots I’ve ever had. They took a good bit of breaking in, but the look is worth it. They’re well made too
Also I know you’ve tried the Wrangler cowboy cut jeans they work pretty good with me. However I like the Wrangler Retro better. They are more like the 527 Levi’s like you wear. They come in Slim Boot, Slim Straight, Relaxed Boot and Relaxed Straight. I currently have the slim straight and relaxed boot. Probably gonna get the slim boot cuts later on because they’re more like the 527s. They also have that good look that the Levis have
if you can help me please the same thing happens to me, how did you do it to break the instep, they are very tight on the top of the feet, please answer
Love my Ariat Ramblers. Especially love the style of the square toe. I own a pair of Ramblers and a pair of boulets... I am not a fan of the boulets. They never get worn.
Do they last? You mentioned there just being glue and no stitching to hold them together... I like the look of these but I tend to be aggressive with my footwear and they get alot of miles quick....
I’m looking to get my first pair of boots. I love the style of these boots but it looks like they would be a bit rough on my feet, especially for someone who is not used to wearing boots. Are there other brands that carry a similar style?
Hey man, what cleaner did you use? I have boots on which the leather looks similiar, im already using the redwing boot conditioner and need a cleaner next!
That character's boots are supremely annoying to anyone watching who is really from Texas. The shafts of the boots were so floppy that they stuck out from the pants. I don't care how depressed a Texas man gets or how much he doesn't give a shit, none of us would wear boots like that. It's also irritating that they think we would buy into the LAPD allowing him to dress like that or not have a holster for his gun. Good riddance to that show.
@@SeanTownsendStormrider agreed 100% the way he wore them is weird, wearing them over the pants like some ranch hand, and about wearing his gun without a holster... dont even get me started.
if you can help me please the same thing happens to me, how did you do it to break the instep, they are very tight on the top of the feet, please answer
Just bought my first pair! How do you condition this particular boot? I saw in a different video Jeremiah mentioned you need a different style of conditioner for distressed looking leather as to not ruin the look. Thanks y’all!
I am looking at getting these as my first "slip on" style boot. I wear Police duty style boots to ride my motorcycle, and Carhartt boots daily. I was looking to get a pair of harness boots, but I feel like the square toe cowboy boots would fit the same criteria, and there seems to be more options. Can anyone comment how these are riding motorcycle? Can the sole/ heel be replaced when they wear out?
Jeremiah Craig I haven’t, but would like to see a review and was wondering if the vents really help with heat management through the shaft. I can see your point though. My belief is that leather lining is best for keeping cool.
Here’s my review after 2 years of wear. The outside is good quality. They are comfort or able for 3 months. After that the inside falls apart, I never liked the shaft of the boot I prefer a harder one. The broke in well. Soles wore fast and the insole is cardboard that cAme out when I got in water. All in all if you could get them for less than a hundred then I’d recommend but not for the original price. They lasted 2 years so I can’t complain but I did have issues.
I could say the opposite for my experience with em, I’ve had them for about a year and they’ve held up 100% but the outside leather has gotten so wrinkled and torn up, inside is still like new. My problem is that they fit a lot looser than I remember them being when I bought them, I wish I would’ve gotten a 1/2 size smaller
Hi there, again in my opinion, a boot that’s basically a leather upper golosh or rubber boot, I honestly feel they are cheap and according to retailers here in Australia, difficult to repair. One sales person in our local saddlery store said, the boots need to be sent overseas for repairs, so it’s a throw away product here. The price point is way over the top in Australia with a quick google search showing the ankle boot at over $230 and the full size boot shown here listed on one site at $429. In my opinion, like a lot of products today, it’s high price with high turnover, using clever marketing to brand and create the demand. Reviews show positive results here in Australia, but I wonder how many are actually wearing the product for show over genuine work conditions, a trip down to the local coffee joint, doesn’t match up to the rigours of farm work. Thanks Jeremiah you are doing awesome.
