I feel it's worth mentioning that the 2018 DHS memo that covers videoing inside and outside of federal buildings in public areas should be mentioned and that it was derived from Poster 7. Keep Pressin'.
Wrong on many levels. It is NOT a memo! It is case law from federal district court 1 out of New York. It resulted from Mussimeci vs DHS in 2010 & 2018. DHS lost both times and created a new federal law that allows recording of ANY federal building - Operational Readiness Order HQ_ORO_002_2018. One thing to do is advise viewers about all the complaints lodged against this particular post office and its uneducated staff ,especially the postal manager her self.
You see it when the government workers forget who they work for and where the money comes from. It’s very sad when they behave that way and even when you file a complaint nothing changes because they are protected. The problem is they let them have never been disciplined for their bad behavior but if they fire one the others will act correctly.
The biggest problem is that the government workers are not exactly the cream of the crop. They would have a hard time in the private sector. Just the widespread ignorance in regard to even the post offices own posted policies is indicative of less than stellar employes. And the fact that there is no accountability and that often leadership is inadequate adds to that. In a VA scandal where trash was piling up inside a VA hospital the administration said the solution was to have more meetings. In the private sector the solution would be to speak to the person responsible for taking out the trash. Tell them that if they don't want to do the job they can go home.

Naaah; you missed a 'cultural clue'. The bank manager, when he came out, he asked : So how was your lunch? That's important; food creates a bond and it always comes first.
As they have the monopoly on snail mail, they couldn't care less about anything the employees do or say. The upper management are safe and the rank and file are protected by the union. So there is no recourse to petition for redress of grievances 😪
The post office near me put up a bigger sign stating photography is allowed in the lobby so people could see it easier I assume. I'm a former postal employee myself and was required to take the oath of office ( to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America ) as a condition of employment. I'd bet that most people that get hired haven't even read the U.S. Constitution. It should be required reading for all U.S. citizens ( certain exceptions apply ).

Maybe we should shut down that Post Office and ALL of the rest of the Post Offices across the country for good. A waste of our tax money on an inefficient government agency that employs rude, self entitled & IGNORANT public servants. #defundusps
Unfortunately, that would require a constitutional amendment. Article 1, Section 8, establishes that only the federal government may "establish post offices". That's been interpreted to mean the USPS is the only entity allowed (and by extension, required by law) to deliver first class mail. Email, the internet, and smart phones are generally making letters obsolete, but to eviscerate the post office and save all that bloated waste would require changing the constitution.

I live in Louisiana. Our people are friendly and welcoming, and our cuisine is fantastic. Our political situation is as corrupt as anything can possibly be. Our two flagship cities Baton Rouge and New Orleans, are absolute cesspools with violent crime rates that are, per capita, second to none. Bravo, Mike.
lousiana = shithole we could clearly see it after katrina
I live next door in Texas, your state stinks everywhere. The whole state.
If I was working at that post office and someone from the public came in and had to show me my rules in my work place I wouldn't go back to work I would be so much ashamed
I hope those responsible for closing the post office early are healed accountable for their unrighteous behaviors and irresponsible actions.
You know those tear and go pamphlets that people stick to utility poles? We need those here but they are tear and go n-word passes for everyone who enters this post office.
If you actually read Poster 7, the employees have the authority to stop people from filming. I'd like to hold your mother accountable for raising an illiterate dunce.
I'm only at the part where you're heading over to the Post Office but those 2 bank employees did a really good job.
Not the first time that I saw them shut down a PO, shameful reaction.
When these employees are unaware of THEIR OWN rules and regulations, that's a failure of the management.
There are rules on Poster 7 that pertain directly to those employees conduct on postal property.
How do you work there, unaware of how they expect you to conduct yourself???
Poster 7 says you can record/photograph IF you have permission...frauditor mouthbreathers NEVER have permission therefore they're NEVER allowed to record
I know,,,,said this 3yrs ago, send email to all post. Office…problem solved
Poster 7 says specifically you need permission to film. Do you not know how to read????

I enjoy PO audits. Thank you. It occurs to me that having a Postal Inspector name and number handy could be helpful when fools close because of rights ignorance? I think I saw on one audit the guy chatting with the inspector while the place was closing down and the PI made them open back up. I could be remembering that wrong...

The hamster wheels were turning so hard in that bank managers head lol the awkward silence. Poor guy didn’t know what to say 😂

Somehow, auditors are still running into the same wall, Stupidity.

Oh, no!
I’m terribly sorry…to learn of your misunderstanding.
Now I understand, why this AUDIT was so much necessary in all these POST OFFICES. The staff thought for so many years that they were not accountable at ALL>.... Thank You KULT NEWS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They need to be reported to the Postmaster regarding this fiasco. Pretty sure they can’t do that.
most postmasters wont do anything
Need to call the Postmaster General in Washington D.C. You can call them directly or file a complaint online. If you call them when it happens, the PO will likely be reopened within minutes.
@michaelharry8341 nothing will be done because they all get paid from the same place.

The pay phone was funny.
Not even 2 weeks ago I wrote a comment stating I haven't seen a working pay phone in probably 15+ yrs..
You just found the most shiny, working pay phone, probably in existence. 😂😂😂😂😂
I heard national media a few years ago say that the last pay phone in the US had been removed. They obviously lied yet again! Or didn't look in Baton Rouge!
Mike, in another video, show a list of the few pay phones you find in your travels, and test them all please. Please show the date, location, and if any still worked. Maybe you can document the actual last pay phones in the US! Great calm, but firm attitude as usual, keep filming!
im a mail carrier. im confident my office would handle auditors fine. we dont even allow the police or armed guards to bring weapons on property. by the book. in fact, i remember in the 90s seeing some guys there with the big camcorder and looking back, i realize thats what they were doing. in addition to the egregious behavior and violation of rights, i really just wanted to say that these people need to be in proper uniform. thats disgraceful, their appearance. the workers' appearance tells you most of what you need to know about any business
Also Poster 7 is derived from actual federal law US Code of Conduct Title 39 section 232.1 subsection I “Photography on Postal Property”
@@jamesnew8170 Here's the Operation Readiness Memo for your review. www.dhs.gov/publication/operational-readiness-order-photography-and-videotaping-federal-facilities
My Post Office got audited by J-Town Press and failed bad! They would not read poster 7 and called the police. I even saw our mailman in the video, he just walked by and was not part of the clown show. Good video again. Thank you, both of you!
"There's a guy with a camera. Close the post office!" said no reasonable person ever.
You never know. Maybe somebody takes the day off on a regular basis and her sister on welfare fills in ?
12:44 - This is the best question to ask in this situation.
And I am baffled by the amount of employees that simply ignore the argument/question. Like why would you??? Why not just be reasonable? Be open to information?? It's so insanely frustrating..

@@leonardwolf1820 I’m a Vet and that’s my only place for medical care. I could tell you stories that would horrify you but people wouldn’t believe it. I kept asking my team doctor for two referrals and he kept telling me I was okay. This went on for almost two years. I went into the hospital because I felt faint in less than 4 hours I had three stints put in. Then I magically got my referral to the dermatologist and had 31 spots frozen and two that were cut off because they were a different kind. The VA can kill you.
Their money comes from the sale of their products
Not taxes. Since 1972
@@mstokes2565 They like all government workers get their money directly from the taxpayers. Us buying the goods they have or being forced to surrender our money in taxes and fines if you are unfortunate enough to get cop violating one of the many laws. The post office is just like our federal government because it operates at a loss every year. A few years ago they got a wonderful 10B$ loan that they haven’t paid back because they are broke and know they are looking at getting 25B more. Don’t fool yourself the post office would have gone out of business a long time ago maybe 1972. Lol
USPS does receive some federal funding. USPS property is legally considered to be publicly owned. If it were privately owned the regulations displayed on Poster 7, which is federal law, would not be valid nor posted. @@mstokes2565
What I really dig about you is that you throw out the historic facts on the places you visit . Kinda reminds me of Amagansett press but with your own twist . Puts more into the story than just rude public servants . You’re a true photographer !
Mike is one of those people who pretend that black people have it harder than we do from police and society in general. The guy is an absolute halfwit.
Unless they have a specific treaty with local Law Enforcement, it is always fun to tell the Po Po who respond that they A/ Have no jurisdiction. B/Are violating federal law by being in the Post Office with a fire arm.
“So they called more people with camera” 😂
Sh*t runs downhill. The customer service is a direct result from the top. This post office and the workers are rude, nasty and an embarrassment to the city. Naaah; you missed a 'cultural clue'. The bank manager, when he came out, he asked : So how was your lunch? That's important; food creates a bond and it always comes first.

Blood of tha ancestors..WOWWWWWW..i love how you teach throughout.....🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Still my favorite channel, thanks for all you do.
You are a great Audit! Respectful of others and no foul language. Thank you

Stacey and I were just talking about that. I have GOT to pull out the mic more often. This is one of those times that I should’ve pulled out the mic. We’ve nicknamed our microphone “Chris Hansen.” -mike
Maybe we should shut down that Post Office and ALL of the rest of the Post Offices across the country for good. A waste of our tax money on an inefficient government agency that employs rude, self entitled & IGNORANT public servants.
#defundusps
Or flood them will phone calls 📞😅
The post office is NOT inefficient. These idiot employees certainly are.
The majority of government needs to be defunded.

The US postmaster general needs to be made aware of these kinds of incidents so that he can reprimand or fire his employees when they behave in such a disgusting manner. They are *public servants* and that post office does not belong to them. It belongs to We the People.

Re post offices, after YEARS of audits there are still places that didn’t get the Poster 7 memo?

You have a consistent following and these fools keep it coming. Love it.
It just goes to show how poorly the USPS is managed that after years of and hundreds of audits the employees have no idea what their own rules are. How can they not have trained the employees on this??
How can post office staff not know about poster 7?
They don't care
Why can't the employer educate the employee? Our tax dollars fund this continued ignorance and harassment and it pisses me off.
What is taking so long for the post master of the United States to send out a memo to all post offices, explaining photographing in public.
They’ve done it multiple times. Last year they had a mandatory meeting for all postal employees in the United States regarding this matter. Some people either didn’t pay attention in that meeting or they just don’t care. -mike
