      @@UFC_Buffalo if you’re driving so fast that multiple other motorists are calling the cops on you you’re driving recklessly. He was worried about the car being impounded which means he knows he was going at least 40 over the speed limit. That’s reckless. I don’t care how you try to justify it. It doesn’t matter if the cars they’re driving can handle those speeds. No one else on the road is expecting people to be going that fast. That’s why it’s dangerous. This is why motorcycles get in accidents. Not because they can’t handle going twice the speed limit. Because someone shoulder checks and sees them a mile away but by the time they start changing lanes the bike is plowing into their rear bumper.

    I have always dreamed of driving a car like that, getting pulled over, the police officer asking, “Do you know why I pulled you over”, me, “because I let you”. Pretty sure it wouldn’t work out to well, but it’s a bucket list thing.

    Were you on highway 16 headed to Alberta when this happened? One more tip. Never speed when you’re in a provincial park. Most cops just issue a verbal warning, some don’t. Most of the RC’s will give you 10 over the posted limit.

    • @JoshsJettas
      @JoshsJettas 2 года назад +1

      I was surprised at how the flow of traffic doesn't exceed the speed limit by more then 15 in the western provinces, in ontario on the 400 highways you can do 30 over and still get passed regularly. I had a cop pull me over for 40 over and he told me 35 and more is ticket territory (wrote me a 15 over ticket which was fine only no points).

That speed was really fast there in relation to the many twisty turns. Pretty much flooring it inside the legal bounderies was absolutely no issue yet that did cause some inconveniences

    There are places where it is possible not to see any police and drive as fast as you want. If you are in a place that has as much traffic as there seems to be on that highway then there will be cops. If your cell phone is still working then there are probably going to be cops. I know of one highway in Alberta that is actually in the north that you have about 200 kilometres of road that you can pretty much drive as fast as you want and it is nice pavement only you won't like the roads that you have to drive to get there.
