Huge fan of the more unique/nonstandard DD's. Would love to see you do a Neustrashimy or Orkan video. Orkan especially, was one of my favorite DD's when she released.

The Huron/Haida question is similar to the Daring/Vampire II one. For competitive, the heal gives so much staying power I feel it’s hard to argue against, but for Randoms they offer very different play styles that it’s more what you’re in the mood for. I was worried Huron was going to be a cheap Haida copy/pasta, especially when it was announced she would be Dockyard reward, but a bit of clever design means she is very different to Haida. Proof that when they try WG can do interesting and varied game design even with theoretically identical ships. Both are great fun to play, especially when you get used to the guns (which appear on a fair few DDs)
I sailed on the RCNs last HMCS Huron, i have been trying for awhile now to get this ship. Of note HMCS Haida is the last tribal class dd in existence. She is a museum in Ontario Canada.
love this little ship. Even have a game with a kraken but took no damage with gun kills. It is pick and choose your fights, but push the fight when you are at an advantage, or they are already targeting someone else.
I would like to see you play Le Terrible as it's a pretty interesting ship and pretty hard to play. It can be very good though while getting into close fights with other dd's.
It's strong, but unfortunately Le Fantasque was made very similar in game. Only realistic reason to get it these days if you want a premium version of Le Fantasque with some minor tweaks.

This ship was only available in the dockyard and there is no other way to get it. He probably won't bother as most people who have it will already understand it by now.
My experience is that it is interesting, but not very good. It is theoretically good in ranked, but there are better choices. Low dpm and been very fragile + no smokeare not a good mix, even with the radar.
Day 2: wish we can see how you handle Harekaze. It's a super flexible ship combining most of Akizuki gunpower with Kagero concealment and torps Edit: Huron already has improved shell ballistics over the Haida

And i could get Bayard for free for giving an asashio. And since i love the black camo i kept that one so favorable exchange. Tulsa. Maybe in T9 ranked. If both t10 and t9 are available, I'd basically always just play DM instead, but I think Tulsa is probably better than Buffalo.
I'm not sure how open you would be on playing submarines, but I would love to see you play I-56 given she's the least "sub like" of all the current subs.
I-56 is tricky, but you need superintendent on it. Avoid other subs and DDS if possible and ambush/shotgun ships. If you use the battery consumable straight after diving you can use it twice in one dive and the battery recharges very quick. The gun is somewhat useful if fighting a relatively low hp DD and it's a 1v1, but it's rarely that good. The biggest issues with the ship are the huge surface concealment and the lack of sub surveillance.
I found soviet BBs very good against subs. The fact that you can play them much more forward positioned than other BBs in the right situation, you can smack subs so often for free, because you are so close to them :)
@@derrickstorm6976 it makes a huge difference, especially when combatting subs shotgunning. It often doesn't take much to dodge the free launch torps from a distance. It also stops subs getting close, as you spot them and 5-6km is a big distance for a sub. It's less helpful vs homing torps though.
PQ, Please just play one low tier ship. A couple people voted Erie highest a while back. All I ask is that you do it for the gags. I WANT YOU TO SUFFER PLAYING TIER 1.

Huron guns actually have somewhat improved ballistic over Haida.

Germans are the best at countering subs with their hydro though
