Now, I remember growing up very poor. I LOVE neck bone stew! We didn't have collard greens, but I ate a ton of dandelion greens my mom would send me out to gather. She'd cook lil chunks of pork and a ton of spices with the dandelion greens. Even though we were in an urban area, I'd go to the park and around the neighborhood and find Jerusalem artichokes and other edible plants we'd add to dinner. My friends at school would share foodstuffs with me -- I was lucky to have a lot of really giving sweet black friends or else there might me times I would have gone without a meal. For them I will always be grateful. A black contractor that lived in our town would give my dad a ham for Christmas every year and helped us quite a bit too. I hope that others look at their biases and try to be respectful to everyone.

@wiseoneangela. IF by “this” you mean the deplorable choices of food stuffs in the grocery chains, food deserts, & caliber of products distributed into Black district suppliers, then I agree.
And since they “still do” soooooo much to see to it that disparity, hardship, & all of the worst “belong” to Black people, they can hardly think that all of that collective pretended ignorance is credible, as far as ADOS are concerned.
It’s doubly-offensive when they actually try slathering religious claims on top of the deception. But since it’s so important to continue making Inequality happen, the least any intelligent grouping of people would have insured long ago, e.g. The Moors, was that any BS about “equal responsibility/accountability” and “gratitude” would remain unmentioned & devoutly unmentionable-just to “shorten” any potential terms in “hell” by several days, for all the effect that might have.
Easy to see how psychopathy can be directly traced to an international Inquisition under a specific “Religious Empire,” but by no means (& by no moderation, whatsoever) confined to it. A spreading virus to this day!

In the early 1800’s my grandmother’s grandmother left Augusta Georgia for present day Liberia. They were the pioneer that formed the colony called “Mississippi in Africa” . The colony later became part of Liberia in 1834.
They brought these soul food with them. Today these soul foods are refer to as “Sunday food” in Liberia. It was not uncommon for Slaves to keep the best they had for Sunday. Growing up in Liberia I ate cornbread, oxtails, macaroni salad, pig feet, chicken feet and the internal organs.

This is directly r/t the food stamp program; although the federal gov can afford it, the minimum is given to those eligible. Ppl depending on food stamps are not able to eat healthy food for the entire month because of how the program was/is set up to work. $200 for a family of 2-3 is ridiculous. This increases food theft.

Our people were really tortured, treated horrificly to an unimaginable state. God knows that ONLY an extremely resilient group of people could still be here in existence despite this generational nightmare.
