The National Council of Indian Culture presents Divali Nagar - Prastaav 2021 featuring some of the top entertainers of the Indo-Caribbean music industry.
This event is held annually and boasts of being one of the largest celebrations of Divali outside of India.
In 2021, the event is being streamed to audiences around the globe.

Well our foreparents from India crossed the Atlantic ocean for 3 months bringing with them not only the fruits and vegetables we enjoyed today but their religions of Hinduism and Islam to our country of Guyana and Trinidad and Suriname. I am so proud that I can visit the cemetery at port morant in Guyana where my great grandfather was cremated.They made British guiana their new homeland.
