Not including this, “Somebody to Love” and “Heavenly Body” on the main tracklist is insane. Tension needed a song like this to better connect “Padam Padam” to the album, because it feels out of place on its own.
These are the type of songs that Kylie needs so that her career is always on the Top, not just with a single (padam, padam that is not even that good) and falls into oblivion again. This should have been on Tension's final tracklist, in addition to having been the first single, which was a hit.
Like it or not Padam Padam is now a Kylie signature song , destined be a forever song always in her set list , not everyones cup of tea but it is objectively good and more nuanced than people think , Tension ( the song) is astoundingly brilliant for my taste , best single since slow
I don’t think you can really say Padam is not that good when it literally took over the world for months. Even catching the attention of the younger generation. Thats almost impossible to do for an artist who’s been in the game for almost 40 years. Personally I like Tension better but I would never say Padam isn’t good. Its catchy, fresh, kind of quirky and sticks in your mind. Exactly what a pop song is supposed to do. Pretty brilliant actually.
