I'm going through completely, no one can if they aren't in our situation, but he listens and is caring, understanding, and sympathetic, which means so much to me. It is so great having people like that in your life. In the past I didn't, and when things got difficult it made life so hard. I'm really glad you have the other POTsie girls to support you, I'm sure it helps you a lot as well, and I m there also if you need anything :)
Hey. I really like this video of yours, thank you for being so open and honest with us here. And I am so sad about your friend, it must be terrible to go through what you've been going through the past couple weeks...I am praying for you. I agree about funerals and the physical/emotional strain. Just having bad things like that happen hurts you so bad that it affects how you feel physically, I think, and makes you feel even worse. When I first got sick, it was the summer and I was doing really
wow, this video is something i can really relate to. sometimes i am so drained and my eyes are just burning and i still can't sleep. it is so hard some days just to do the simplest things, and even though I make myself go through some of the activities; it really has it's ware on my body. I am a member of DINET and have written to some people but I'm waiting on replys. These are people with disautinomia as well....sometimes it gets really lonely
I don't have POTS, but I am Chronically Ill with Osteoporosis, Chron's Disease, and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. As well as a few more (including CP from birth), so I can sympathize with the drained / emotionally drained feelings. I hope you feel better, and can get some rest soon. Thinking of you.
sick. It helps so, so much. In the past, I really never told anyone how I was feeling. My automatic response to everyone is, "fine," my mom understands what it is like to be sick because she has lupus, but I feel so guilty about her having to deal with me on top of being sick herself that I really just keep what is going on with me to myself. I'm getting better about being honest; I talk to my sick friends about it and I can talk to my boyfriend about it too, I know he fdoesn't understand what
poorly, but when school started I did much better for quite a while until I lost 2 classmates in a car accident...I only knew one of them well and wasn't particularly close to either, so it wasn't anywhere near as bad as what you're going through, but for some reason it really hit me. I went to both funerals back to back and it was very very hard...around that time is when I started feeling much sicker, I ended up missing a month of school and was in the hospital, so I definitely know that
