Keep living the adventure guys!! Lots of love from Canada 🇨🇦 and a tiny house contest like common!😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️ love you guys❤️
YES MANDY MORE! I think the best part was the massive shit right beside it 😭😭😭 and yes I know the song Oklahoma and I’m only 25 couldn’t sing you the lyrics tho 😂😂

Yes, I am familiar with the musical, Oklahoma! I used to live in Colorado for a few years. I would drive from South East Colorado, to New Mexico, Arizona to get to LA and visit family twice a year! I have seen the oddest things while driving through the deserts of those states! I love California for its diverse landscape, but I miss the open landscape in Colorado and New Mexico because you can see a storm coming from miles away! One day, while hiking with my dogs in the valleys around the Mesas in Colorado, we had to hurry back to the car. The winds became incredibly strong and I noticed that we were beneath a wall cloud that was forming. We got home just as the tornado sirens were going off! Fortunately the storm and the tornado moved away from us, but did damage 75 miles to the east of us! I have an internet friend in Texas Hill County, who would love you two! I have never been to Texas, but one day.... I found you through Nate and Kara, that was fun! Thank you for sharing your adventures! You guys are great!
I'm 29 and I love the musical Oklahoma! Gordon MacRae (the guy who sings it) has an amazing voice. You guys should start each day with "Oh What a Beautiful Morning" from that musical - it will put you in the right mood every time!
I’m 30 and know the song Oklahoma since my elementary school did this as a musical play back in the day 😂 I was laughing with you guys at the ‘monument’ - thanks for another great vlog! Could you guys speak to how you feel safe on the road? Would love to do a road trip like this one day and would like to hear what makes you feel safe, especially parking at night.
I was TOTALLY singing along with you, Louis! "OHHHHH-klahoma where the wind comes sweeping down the plains" I'm older than you but my daughter who is 29 could sing it as well. Classic movies - esp. musicals - are LIFE!
I'm so happy that I found you guys through Kara and Nate---I can't stop binge watching your vlogs! You both seem to really have a good time no matter what you are doing, and I love that. Keep the amazing content coming! :)
Not only did I know the song but it is my favorite song. I am 33 but was raised by my grandfather who loved the musical. He woke me up everyday to a song from the soundtrack. Brought up great memories thank you. You have no idea how happy this video made me.
36 and I was tortured growing up with the score to Oklahoma lol! I'm so glad you all are jumping into van life post Kara and Nate as well. Such a fun episode and love your couple journey.
This vlog was fantastic! It had it all... laughs, suspense, cool storm. I'm in my 40s and yes I know Oklahoma, I was signing along with Louis!! Thanks for putting out these wonderful videos, its fun joining you both on your journey.
Kansas and Oklahoma are known as "Tornado Alley", and such lightening storms can be tornado "birthers" (that's what we called them when I grew up in Kansas); it looks like you caught the outside edge of a front, so I'm glad you weren't in the middle of it with that bus! It's a pity you couldn't see Kansas by daylight; Wichita is a beautiful city, especially around the Keeper of the Plains area (where I grew up)!
I love that you guys left in the True Value at 3:53 My dad owns a True Value (Alpine, TX) so it’s always fun to see that familiar sign in unexpected places. 😊
21 and yes I've heard Oklahoma plenty of times because I'm from Oklahoma! If you guys do ever come back then you should definitely go through the state from west to east because you can actually see the change from dry grass to farmland to forest with a bunch of state parks along the way!
that star lapse was so epic I re-watched so many times! Speaking of epic, that monument... just wow LOL! This was so good, I look forward to each new episode, you guys are so fun to watch
Just watching this vlog now (2 years later), but I LOVE following your channel - it’s lovely and inspiring. Your connection, advice and positivity is infectious. So thank you to u both!! I know Oklahoma as well - it’s such a fun musical - very worth seeing the film if you can find it, Raya! Take good care
Ooooklahoma where the wind comes sweeping down the plain, and the waving wheat, it sure smells sweet, when the wind comes right behind the rain! It’s a musical made into a movie starring Shirley Jones. I’m 58! The Surrey with the fringe on top and Oh what a beautiful morning are two of the other songs! I just found you guys and I love you already!
Wow what an epic episode! That lightening was insane, also I couldn't stop laughing when Louis thought he may have left Raya somewhere, gosh can you imagine hehe. 😂😱
I only live about 2 hours from white sands! It's the most beautiful place! There are many animals that also live there at are all white! It gets very hot during the summer here, I would wait closer to fall to come. Unless you wanna melt! Hopw y'all come back towards New Mexico! It's got lots of beautiful sunsets! ❤️
While on vacation in Texas we drove from New Braunfels to Houston. We went through an even more crazy storm. Quite scary but our rental car looked like it just came out of a super detail clean and wax. It was sooooo sparkling clean.
OMG this cracks me up because it brings back memories. Deep breath. I flew to Tulsa from Portland and a friend of mine from Anchorage met me to drive a car back to Portland at the same time of year, two years ago. I thought the weather would be nice. Well, let me tell you that the Texas panhandle is a bish. We got a tornado warning on our phones and the clouds were sinking. SINKING TO THE GROUND. I was looking at the weather radar and told her to GUN it so we would bullseye through the tail of what ended up being a massive sudden storm. We passed the biggest cross I have ever seen on the side of that long stretch of hwy. A giant cross isn’t there for nothing. We got to Amarillo and everyone was acting normal. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. Nobody sees those SINKING clouds or hears the tornado warnings on their phones? We left that gas station and 5 min later hit rain like I’ve never seen. It was un-drivable. We were the last car to fit under an overpass. There was hail and lightning and torrential rain. I thought it was going to flood down there. But it passed and we hauled ass to Albuquerque. BYE BYE TEXAS. Never again in the spring. *Then we got to the grand canyon with limited time and the WHOLE f* thing was fogged in. Who knew
I'm 24 and from Texas. I know the song very well because I was in the musical "Oklahoma!" twice. Once in high school and once in college! I'll remember the lyrics for the rest of my life whether I want to or not lol
This was one of my favourite vlogs yet. I loved seeing all the silly moments and more of Raya’s fun personality!! This vlog proves it’s not all about the big moments, but all the small moments in between. Thanks Louis and Raya! xx
Greetings from Savannah, GA. Oklahoma is a musical about the people of a western town in Oklahoma. If you watched the Partridge Family you will recognize the Mom, Shirley Jones. I love musicals. I'm 55.
Know the song, been in the musical! If you can find the filmed stage version then it was Hugh Jackmans very first performance, years before he was known as Wolverine :D
This is my favorite vlog so far simply because of the Oklahoma section. I’m from Oklahoma and I was dying laughing at Louis attempting to sing the song 😂 there’s also no better way for you to be welcomed into our state than with a massive thunderstorm. Love it.
I know the song Oklahoma because of the movie Twister. During a scene where they are chasing a tornado a quick montage shows each vehicle in the convoy and music they listen to while chasing. Once character listens to Oklahoma.
Hi, I am so aware of the song, Oklahoma. It was a very popular Broadway musical and then Motion Picture. I am 75 years old. It went by quick guys! It was so funny when you finally reached the 2ft monument! I got a kick out of it along with you. Good luck on your journey!
I can actually imagine Louis leaving Raya on the side of the road and driving off only to realise later she's not with him 😂😂😂😂 that made me laugh so much
