Are there any records (CD's or DVD's) of yours that one can buy for a personal record collections?
Hi John, thank you for the question. I don't currently have anything produced in a hard format like a CD, although I do have plans to make one. Trying to get a budget together so I can produce something that I can be proud of.
Really nice! A question, though--it sounds like the bass line was being doubled with an (electric?) bass in addition to the contra. Is that the case?
Not at all, that would be sacrilege! It's probably the bass drum, (cajon with pedal), playing underneath that you can hear. Thanks for watching.
@@HowardDann I guess that amazing contra just has such a resonant tone that I mistook it for being paired with a stringed instrument! 🤩
I hate to break the news to you but the Great Glenn Miller NEVER had a bassoon in his band.
