I love that quote. I think he’s referring to “being a lion” as in actually speaking up against the devs for the player base to see certain changes happen, knowing in retrospect the devs just view him as a “sheep” anyway, and will ban or ignore one person speaking up against their mistakes.
Can be applied to everyday life as well. Being a store or regional “manager” at a corporate company in the grand scheme of things you’d still be considered a sheep.
Part of me felt that it could have been in reference to other T5 players, since he mentioned a line about not being afraid to fight other T5's. But I can see this analogy as well.
I'm not a whale, just a low spender guy who tryna enjoy the game. I love the answer about doing nothing for hours especially at choke point. My alliance leadership want us to participate and give contribution to the alliance but hey I'm working 9-6 job and I don't want sending my legions just to wait for hours before getting smacked when I was AFK. I only got 200k healing per day and I'm not a whale where even if you inactive, you will not be kicked out.

U can immediatly see the problem Crazybob is simply not interested in the dynamic of kingdom builders these are games that run in real time 24/7 there is no pause button and a single "match" takes 60-70 days in the form of seasons this is not Call of Duty or League of Legends with nonstop action he talks about wasting time but the game is literally 60 days long and if u have a good enemy they will keep u on ur feet nothing changes that turrets/barricades/healing u still have to play for 60 days to secure ur position and win.
Alot of people also like to talk about the healing nerfs lemme tell u from a low spender/F2P perspective almost nothing changed they lowered troop based healing from 10%->7% which means the real people that got hit are 100m+ whales that have way more healing then normal players at the end of the day nothing changed the game feels slower to crazybob now cause he cant mow down endless T4 anymore suddenly there is alot more T5 which slows the game down T5 cant push anymore without consequences like they did in S1/S1+.
Cause thats the real problem the game was faster because we only had like 5-10 T5 in each server they had massive impact on field and made pushes quick now u got 50 T5 on each side ready to defend at all times punishing other T5 that make mistakes its slower cause it got more strategic.

If that was the case truly the case, I don't think bob would have stayed playing as long as he did, given there is some truth in what he is saying, as I explained during the interview from what I have seen as well. It is not really the entirety of the season, but rather how much downtime there is when fights could be happening, but are not. The TFS/NOIR kvk showed that the pacing of fights can vary between being quick & more turtled, so in some parts the game could slow down a bit once you get to that upper echelon of alliances.
The lion will is strong and courageous where as sheep are weak and timid.
The quote refers to the idea that a lion among the sheep will encourage them to speak out and be bold.
At least that is where this expression in particular comes from I believe.
I truly feel this, being nearly half
of what bob spent. I’m currently feeling how he best expressed it. Feeling I’m wasting my time, but enjoying the community that I’ve grown with. I refuse to invest anymore money in this game either until they fix the issue and provide a massive compensation along with an apology.
Yeah the community aspect hit hard in just how important it is and how it can keep people in the game longer than if that wasn't there. Was nice to hear from him.

I totally feel the same way on every point he said. 90b power player, and I feel the same way. One more season, If the developers can't turn it around, I'll shelf this game, too.
Honestly would be awesome if I and/or others could sit down with the developers. Maybe one day
I'm in the same boat 95m power, all heros awoken and all artifacts at level 5 and I'm not spending another single cent on this game, it genuinely feels like the devs don't care and aren't listening to the community, there's a level of disconnect here that I've never experienced from game developers before.
No offence but whales should not be the ones that devs need to cater at all, they should listen to the majority of the community and mostly the lower spending people
I hope more stop spending on this game until the devs actually communicate, listen and do good updates. Our alliance normally has like 600 chests daily, today we got around 150 chests, and it will decrease even more tomorrow.
Only way to make the devs listen is to hurt their wallets. STOP SPENDING ON THE GAME EVERYONE
Yeah unfortunately it is one tactic, and hurts when players enjoy the game, but feel like the game has limited their options on how they can express themselves.

Is it really possible to refund everything you purchased in cod in the last year?
I've always felt that players like this are a little selfish. They have the means to pay to win and then complain that there isn't more "PvP", but when they say that they arent really talking about PvP most of the time. Usually it's about killing player units who arent looking to fight, like the F2P or low spenders that need to farm just to get to a small percentage of where the whales already are. Or they will kill the units of 20+ (F2P/LS) players and then complain that people are afraid to fight and there isn't more action.
I guess my main issue is these types of people don't actually want the game to be better. They just want it to be more fun for them so they feel like they got their moneys worth. Usually though most of the things they want make the game less fun for a lot of other people, which drives down the action they want to see. It's actually a very self sabotaging way to play the game.
I do agree, in that, on average, for players that are mid-high spenders, this can very much be the case, which is why it is good to have some oversight/filtering when it comes to any and all suggestions that anyone would submit.
We paid good money for pvp not farming , or behemoths… guys right give us back the action we had first 2 seasons
The problem with these whales is they spend more they can afford, then they blame the game is expensive. Lots of whales retired because they run out money to stay competitive with their other whales friends
I think CrazyBob might come back once Age Of Empires Mobile is released.

@@compdogg94they are having lots of internal issues with their alliance and some rumors that I heard that player’s within TFS mainly the meower group thinks TFS is scared of EIS and BxS in this seasons match up. Which does raises some questions for why they picked zoland
Keep in mind TFS was so worried they allied every 2-6b team on the map other than EIS and BXS they were so nervous they allied all the small T4 teams they could get. After already allying EXG the other larger server on the map.
