One of your restaurants should serve breakfast only and sims wear their pajamas to eat. And if you wanted to be really weird, have individual rooms for each party of sims and the rooms look like a bedroom.

I feel like the dining area is a little squished at the front of the lot. You could change the bedroom and personal bathroom to be more horizontal rather than vertical aligned if that makes sense? So it utilizes the space to the right of the lot. Then you could push the kitchen back and have more room for tables.
Or you could make the personal area be an upstairs apartment!

This is getting ridiculous. First you have an awful elder waiter that always messed up. Then your employees got wiped and you lost money because you trained them and now after you have trained this new batch of employees quite decently it turns out that one of em is a kleptomaniac! #BadLuckJames

If you search 'condiment basket' in buy mode (its under misc. deco), a cute basket with ketchup, mustard, hot sauce, and a menu will show up. I think it would be a better suit for your restaurant, and it does provide environment.
Yeah, this is a base game deco, and it might be less expensive for replacing after his sticky fingered waiter takes them. Incidentally, the first time I saw it I thought, "Yep, they're gonna do restaurants in this iteration..."
I'm doing my own version of this LP. I tried the tip about not paying the bills and they actually turned off the electricity for my restaurant as well. Loving this LP series! :)

You also don't need to wait forever for the last customers to leave, as they pay you when they get their food anyway. You wouldn't lose any money on that :)

I'm the comments for super sim challenge we debated the free services thing for a bit. It actually did seem to give max free services regardless of being shceduled. at least the maid I know I saw cost 0$. Maybe she did nothing, maybe it was because she was hired before you bought the perk. I think some further testing is in order for the free services perk. Maybe I'll dig the forums for this one, seems like it would have been hashed out ages ago.
Yeah, I just tested this out with the scheduled gardener, and there was no pop up
message saying, "I'm all done here, that will be (x) Simoleons." He left suddenly before he was quite done, and game shot into fast speed, so I didn't see for sure if any money was deducted, but pretty sure there is usually a message. I'll keep playing and update if I notice a charge.
There are also others verifying free scheduled services with the free services perk in the comments below! This is awesome!

Not sure if someone said this yet but you can manage things like firing and promoting an employee via your cellphone. The sim will automatically use their cellphone if the employee is not on the lot.
Every time he gave someone a free dessert in the previous episodes I cried. Because he didnt even have any desserts.
You could always size the burger sign back up and put it on the side of the building, so presumably people walking on the path next to GRASS would see it.

If you get a TV you can get your fun up while eating and if they are eating and watching at the same time, then they can even talk while eating and watching at the same time. Three needs fulfilled at once!

The kleptomaniac sims are the funniest in creator videos because you get the real time reaction to things disappearing - whether you saw it be stolen or you start doubting your memory XD
i really think you should have every name of the restaurant be based on the decoration of it for example since this one is called grass you should have a lot of greenery and plants around !!!! for the food supply you could have those paitings of food up and have maybe different rooms representing different types of food or perhaps just have a lot of variety on the menu
OR you could base the food you serve on the name of the restaurant and have this one be kind of a vegan/vegetarian restaurant
Just a suggestion of how you could make the public bathroom bigger.
Flip Sir's bed to the bottom of the room, with the head against the kitchen wall, and bring their bathroom door near the top of the room. that way you can give that extra square of space to the public bathroom. I don't know if you can put stalls in there, though.

Customers pay for their food as soon as it is delivered to the table, so you can close the restaurant straight afterwards without losing any money, and not having to pay all your staff just to wait for one customer to leave. At least, that's what I've found. I don't think the restaurant rating goes down either, but double check on that one.

To know how satisfied employees are, select the "check up on" option instead of just praising. It will tell you if they are happy with their job or not.

You should make that super tall half wall back into a wall-wall. They keep putting down empty cups and stuff on top of it.
at first i thought one of your customers was stealing your spn table decorations, but it's totally your red-haired waiter. also i just had an idle thought that since this restaurant is called. G.R.A.S.S., the paint outside should be green, or you could use the wallpaper that has actually has grass on it.
For another perk you should get the inspiration speech to boost up your employees morality and possibly help their satisfaction of working for you. After all, you can only use praise once per hour or two. This is a second choice that does help in some way. Other perks may be better than this early in a restaurant's lifetime. cost 900 perk just a suggestion

Get rid of the 4th chair at tables. The biggest parties are only 3 Sims, so you can free up some floor space.
