Fuck.
4:40 is my favorite. How they both forget about their beef and just have fun for those few seconds.
The scene with it in Little Red Riding Rabbit made my fucking stomach hurt from laughter the first time I saw that short. Had to go back and rewind to that bit like three times in a row and laughed like it was brand new every time. Love that gag.
I know ! The Wolf was really getting into it !
"Silly Isn't He."
Always hilarious
Greg Ford describes this gag in one of his commentaries on the Golden Collection (for "The Heckling Hare", I think) in a way which is highly enthusiastic but completely incomprehensible unless you already know what he's talking about. 😄
One of those recordings in my head that has never gone away is "Put on your old gray bonnet with a blu......"

4:40 -- Mel Blanc and Billy Bletcher nailed it with the "hero-repeating-villain's-dialogue-until-tricking-the-villain-into-repeating-it" gag in Little Red Riding Rabbit that led into their tenor and baritone duet rendition of the song.
Oh Yeah?
Yeah!
Here They Come! And There They Go!
Bugs: Eh what’s up Brune-Face?
Bugs: Eh tell me droopy, what’s he look like?
2:24 here we go again

5:20 the animation reminds me of some of Clampett and Davis cartoons. Who animate this??? Levitow?
No.
Possibly Basil Davidovich? He animated for both those directors.
It's John Carey who animated for McCabe and Clampett, one of his first scenes after returning from the Army
Ride buggy a what!
Whatever happened to that scoundrel ??
2:42 certainly didn't age well
