Hi! Your tip on switching up baby’s feeding position worked for us! We prop her up on some pillows and she was able to take the bottle and drink ~2 oz. We still have a long way to go before she can comfortably bottlefeed for a full feed, but hey, it’s progress!! Thank you for the suggestion :)
I don’t believe in nipple confusion! With my first daughter I was told by midwifes to not introduce a bottle before 12 weeks as she will not take the breast ! So I was paranoid and listened to them! At 12 weeks I decided to give a bottle and omg she wouldn’t not take it ! I spent ridiculous amount of money on different bottles and teats defiantly in the hundreds !! And I gave up I even tried every single trick in the book and nothing ! I ended up breastfeeding my baby until she was 15 months ! I Could not do anything .. she couldn’t stay with anyone for longer than 2 hours ! It was terrible .. I once got admitted to the hospital luckily she was 5 months old and she was eating solids at that point ! I was away for 2 days! And she couldn’t be breastfed as I was in strong medications! I felt guilty because was not getting any milk! I now have a 4 week old !! She is both breastfed and bottle fed ! I exclusively pump from the day she was born !!! And she has breastmilk in the bottle and breastfed at night !! She did not have trouble latching on to either bottle or my breast! She can switch really easily ! I think it’s the midwifes and doctors just making new mums paranoid! If you get the baby on the bottle and the breast from day one ! Then there will not be no such a thing as refusing the bottle or the breast because she or he get used to whatever it is put in their mouth ! Now she can be left with anyone and I can leave without worrying
I am a nanny to a 3 month old that has only ever had the breast. Mom tried different bottles last week before she went back to work yesterday with no success. I am having a very difficult time getting the baby to accept the bottle. She is crying the whole time and not getting anything that doesn’t just drop into her mouth. Yesterday I had to set her down after about three hours of trying on and off with no luck. She cried for about 30-40 minutes and once she wore herself out I decided to try once more. She sucked for about 5 seconds which I was grateful for. Today it’s like starting all over again. The only option for her is the bottle. I’m hoping she will catch on soon. It’s so frustrating.

Bottle is not the only option to replace breast. You can always try a small cup or with a spoon. Yes it takes a long time but babies have that natural skill and they take it. And scientifically it's better to have babies drinking from a cup than from a bottle. So please give it a try. Thanks.
Thank you for this!!! I was also angered by the advice of "she won't starve herself." Huh?? Actually she kinda did sadly. See my milk has taken a drastic downfall due to pregnancy, and no herbs or lactation cookies will help! My poor 6 month old baby just sucks away even tho not much coming out :( but when I was seeing dry pampers I panicked! She outright refused formula for 2 weeks and also had bad reaction at first. So while I'm watching your video I just had a formula break-thru! She drank 25 ml out of a dropper! And at first I was sad cause it's still so little but that's when you were saying to be patient and build up, if only from 10-20 ml! Thank you. This is the most helpful advice I've encountered so far
Success! I followed you advice! I tried several bottles and nipple flows, and never gave up! Took several weeks to a month 3x a day but now my baby successfully transitioned from breast to bottle! She was 6/7 months when I started and now 8 months. The bottle she ended up liking was the Haakaa.
You are a godsend! I weaned my baby from the bottle by mistake! She took the bottle and the boob right out of the NICU and then started to hate the bottle after exclusively getting the boob. After a few days of trying and getting the same bottle as you, she guzzled a whole ounce today! Took her forever and a day to drink less than a quarter ounce last week! Thank you so much!! Now I have less anxiety about leaving her with someone else. My daughter’s 3 months old.

By EBF son took to them no issue so presumed it would be the same for the little lady!! Same as you, I bought them because they are so popular and in every shop! I also tried the Medela bottles which I had used for expressed milk and no joy. Both these bottles teats are very circular and hard silicone....a few people on a baby forum recommended the MAM bottles so I tried them...I sat her on my knee facing outward watching baby TV, slightly leaning back into the couch. She wasn't hungry so no pressure. put the bottle in front of her...she grabbed it herself with me supporting it and put it in her mouth and started sucking away....the teat size was for 4month plus....not sure of the number....so100% agree with everything in this video. this was after several days of her fully rejecting the bottle. what a positive helpful video! Thank you! My worry is I feed on demand so I don't really know when to try and offer the bottle because she's often not hungry because she feeds so frequently and little amounts, every hour pretty much. She also uses my nipple for comfort so then when the milk just comes out shell drink it. Did you have a breastfeeding routine before bottle or were you on demand? X

It's ok up till the time the baby's demand is a couple of minutes to breast and u r at home. The minute it's demand increases and you have to go to work just a few ounces of squeezed breast milk is not enough. Then there is no option but to bottle feed the baby or sacrifice his nutrients

@@nonophat no as beast milk changes to what baby needs. Giving too much at once will not only make baby uncomfortable, but will also stretch baby's tummy.
When the baby gets hungry enough it will take the bottle. If you do what so many do and jump and turn flips and give them what they want as soon as they make a sound, they will never learn...you are creating monsters.

I was always on demand and still am..
I had an evening routine and that's when I introduced a bottle. while having some sort of routine.
I gave up when covid happend. Couldn’t handle the stress of it all. So still EBF and now she’s weaned it’s works really well! Glad I pushed through with it and happier than ever breastfeeding 💖
Did she start sucking on the bottle right away?? We’re on day 4 and she’s just playing with the bottle in her mouth, she isn’t sucking on it :/. Is this normal? When did your start actually drinking
ITs pretty normal. it took my baby ages. and bare in mind all babies are different. keep trying as long as it takes.
Your video was very motivating! I had almost given up! :-/
How did it go?
Am trying my 2 months baby I hope it will b helpful
I can't even get my son to try to latch the bottle! Help!
How is it going so far? I’m on the same boat and completely understand your situación, I’m panicking right now bc I have to be back at work soon 😩
Shes is a beautiful baby💯🍼🍼🍼👶🏻👶🏻👶🏻💖💖❤❤
Ciao che bella bambina carina anche la sua famiglia e bella carina come la bambina ciao tutti
Yes they tell you not to but you really should if you want your baby to take a bottle! Be consistent because I didn’t for like a week and now she doesn’t want a bottle 😭😭😭
Everything you expressed it was the same. I was scared because i was told the same thing. Going back to work he is 2 months and hates the bottle.
She’s so cute!! 🥰 I’ve tried giving my daughter an empty bottle to play with as well. She’s still not having it, but I’m gonna work on having someone else try feeding her other than myself.
Colic comes from baby sucking down air I read, Empty bottle maybe not best thing
I want to try it... I think thats helpful.. Today ive been being bad to my baby bcoz i let her get hungry just to feed in the bottle.. I feel very bad.. And shes so stressed..
And ok i will take it easy starting tomorrow.. Thanks
Can we do it once everyday?
A problem is I’m single the only person my baby knows is lactating so it gets him frustrated
Super cute baby 😍
Oh my God all your tips r wonderful
Can't wait to do them!
Ciao grazie anche avoi famiglia che avete una bella bambina carina ciao tutti
My baby is all ready six months. His mom try him to drink milk in the bottle but he refuse it.
Your baby is do damn adorable! I could eat her up, munchkin 😘❤
Your baby is reallllllly cute!
This one is helpful. Thanks !
It's ok up till the time the baby's demand is a couple of minutes to breast and u r at home. The minute it's demand increases and you have to go to work just a few ounces of squeezed breast milk is not enough. Then there is no option but to bottle feed the baby or sacrifice his nutrients
what a cutie!!!
i learned more.thank you for the tips
YOU ARE A GENIUS!
I wana say big thanks to u.your tips is really work in my case.
You have your baby cows milk
So I go back to work at the end of this month and I wanted to transition my son like two weeks before going to work to drinking breast milk from the bottle . I see that it was said to breastfeed during the night and bottle during the day . But as of pumping I can pump at work but when I come home for the day do I need to pump then too and just freeze my milk?
How to train my baby 2 month rejected bottle.and now he only drank 1oz.then anither minutes i gave 1oz.i gave him formula.but i did pump my breasmilk.i need help.should i give formula and night at 6pm i gave boobies.im afraid if i work i cnt pump.and my baby rejected formula..
MAM is also my favriote!!
How many times a day did yu try to feed her bottle
as many times as possible. there's no limit
I have a whole lot of tommee tippee unused bottles too! 😂
So were u still breastfeeding while doing these try outs and looking for bottles?
I wish she can lower the background nusic while filming and speak slowly thanks
Very helpful!! ✨
Thanks dear
It works with my 6mos boy. Tqqqqq
Gotta try this. Mine is 4.5 months and completely rejecting the bottle currently.
I am facing the same.!! My daughter is 3.5 mos and I will try it!! Let me know if these advices are great enough for your little one..
How did you guys resolve it? Im facing the problem. Sighhhh
@@shamsamib how did it go?
@@mytran6936 how did it go?? I’m going through the same situation right now 😓
@@jennyherrera204 i thought i replied to this
When you say do it every day do you mean one bottle a day or bottle feed all day?
one bottle a day.
I just wanted to say thank you so much my baby 4.5 months old can drink happily right away from the MAM bottle recommended. Just amazing!!!
omg i just ordered the mam bottle after watching this video... lets hope it works for us too :( my baby is now at 7 months
@@angelacheung6834 I gave up on bottles and she still just nurses lol. Even this bottle didn’t really help and I don’t remember but I think the dishes were more overwhelming then just nursing. My advice is get a gods rocking chair and sleep while they nurse
MAM is also my favriote!!! 🍼
Very good,useful vedio.
One day. No "weening". Cold turkey. Don't give in.
awesome advice thank you!!
Breast fed babies should only have 1-1.5oz of breast milk per hour.
Doesn't it depend on weight and age though?
My baby is 5 month and he's a big boy exclusively breastfed.
Only now trying to introduce bottle (breast and formula as well).
@@nonophat no as beast milk changes to what baby needs. Giving too much at once will not only make baby uncomfortable, but will also stretch baby's tummy.
Tommie tippie is to big I agree
When the baby gets hungry enough it will take the bottle. If you do what so many do and jump and turn flips and give them what they want as soon as they make a sound, they will never learn...you are creating monsters.
😂
Whaoooo woman don't be so loud!!! 😮
W
I would like to watch this but the yelling is obnoxious. Pass
10 minute video first 2 minutes nothing useful at all...
