He has his lower jaw completely intact but the rest is gone, only the back of his head remains - he doesn't even have an endoskeleton structure under there, only the back plate. Despite that, it's implied his bare optical ports can still see, likely due to the whole possession situation, even though presumably the camera systems are within the animatronic eyes themselves.
