Should have got a D6N or D6T at a Minimum given the Size of You All’s Truck/Weight, Especially with Stuck Trucks! Even though they Discontinued the D6N, but there are still some of them out there ton Buy.
If it feels like it doesn’t want to cut as much shim your blade forward, you will get more digging force, just have to have a light handle on the controls... it will dive on you in a hurry
I love how we Americans say air conditioning and heating, when it's the same thing. If we were to say heating and cooling, that would make more sense :)
It might seem to be lacking power because of the wide tracks, doesn’t your other dozer have the narrow tracks? The low ground pressure (LGP) tracks will be nice in mud but they sure eat up power.
The new dozers aren't the old dozers. Hydrostatic drive does not have the same pushing power as a power shift transmission machine. What is up with a machine that automatically cuts power under a load. There must be a way to override that function. I want a machine with levers connected to a rod so when I pull on it I know it works, rather than a lever connected by a wire and hope it works. My old D-5 will run circles around the new ones.

Your old D6H weighs about 15000# more than the D6K. That's why it pushes better.
I’d like to have a dozer bout that size just to clean fence rows and maybe build some logging roads here and there

I logged with a John Deere 440 D dozer it done better than you’d thank it would

Alot of people have an actual heater of some sort and then an air conditioning unit separate

The old D6 dozers are BEASTS. you got a D4 there that's why no power. Great video

Run 3/4 power instead of wide open .you have way pushing power at 3/4 ,.that's what I found out on the d5s .and the 750 john Deere
That piece is more of a finish dozer not made for pushing a lot
