I went to my Lowe's and Home Depot this past Sunday and was so disappointed, they had nothing! My WalMart has been lacking too. Maybe the Universe is telling me that I have enough!
Yeah, but then you go on another day and temptation reigns supreme ! . You stand there saying " I cannot afford or have room for all of these plants" lol.
I hear the Universe telling you it's time to branch out a bit further. IDK, sometimes I only hear what I want to so maybe don't take me at my word 🤷♀️😆
@@jackieara3627 Oh yeah I branch! My branching has now got me at 65 plants! I was just saying those 2 spots were a bummer BUT, I ran to Wallys World a couple days back for some coffee and I found a Thai Constellation! SCORE! Anyways, have a great weekend!
Lucky for me (lol) the nearest Home Depot is an hour away. Went last week and got a wish list plant - Alocasia Polly - with TWO full plants in the pot! - and a Hoya Latifolia Albomarginata. Also my alocasia corazon I got from Costa last year is finally growing back! 😊 They’ve discontinued that one.
Man o man that Home Depot garden section is HUGE!!!!! Lots n lots to choose from 👏🏼👍🏼 And those Caladium colours are just gorgeous!!!! I'm still on a self imposed plant ban but i'm soooooooo tempted to get a couple come spring! The one you chose is humungous Ashley!!! No wonder you blew your budget on that one...I'd have done the same 🫠
I bought a Miss Moffit Caladium last year...I didn't not store the bulbs properly over winter but one of them did pop me out a new lead and it made my heart so happy. Caladium are beautiful
At a local Lowe’s here, I found a type of ginger plant that has blue-green leaves w/ red backs.. fascinating plant. It looks like bamboo. I picked it up, and started looking around outside, only to randomly find 10” Cast Iron plants (randomly mixed in with the perennials). Now, I know this isn’t a popular plant, but I love them! I had one and gave it away when I moved. I picked up two, went straight to the register, and the cashier discounted the Cast Iron plants! #WINNING
The plants in Charlotte big box stores are amazing compared to what we have down on the coast, Ashley! 🪴 I was so disappointed. Not taken care of, and way fewer variety/stock. But! I knew a few to keep an eye out for, and came home with a “five holes plant” monstera and a monstera Peru. And I saw a White Knight that I’m going back for. 😊
Hi Ashley, here in Maine we never get such a big variety of houseplants as you do in NC..I’m a little envious 😅I love watching your videos, just what I needed today.Happy Memorial Day❤
Like minds think alike, Ashley. I just bought one white small caladium and 1 red one with the ruffled edges and potted them both up together in a pot and it's sitting on my small table on my covered deck right now....love it! Your caladium is spectacular.......wowzer!
Hi Ashley! Loved the white Caladium you picked up, she’s gorgeous! Caladiums are one of my favorites and we are lucky to have so many varieties in the Charlotte market. For me Caladiums say Summer and Southern elegance. If you plant up outside pots the Caladiums always work well with almost all plants that have similar water and light requirements. They make the pot exquisite! I would have picked up the Stingray. I keep telling myself I don’t have any more room for houseplants but I’ve walked away from four or five Stingrays recently and each time I feel myself growing weaker and weaker. 🤣. Have a great week and many thanks for this fun video! 👌🪴🥰
I'm hoping I can find another rubber tree plant and I love that caladiums all the different colors they're great today is my birthday I love the plant that you got so pretty
Lots of lovely plants. I put my ferns in self watering pots, so far even the maidenhair fern is doing ok 😀 I love your Caladium what a great price for the size.
Loved seeing the cactus and succulents. The Caladium's were beautiful, but I don't have room for large plants. So just stick to small ones. Great Video. Thank You.
I remember when I bought a small succulent that had these red flowers blooming and it was the size of my hand and 3 years later it’s thriving and is taking up half my window and has over 200 flowers on it idk what to do with it now 😂
I have Hawaiian pothos and in researching care for it I discovered that PW Leafjoy sells the Summer Nights as formerly being Hawaiian and partners it with the snowy morning as formerly marble queen. ??? My Hawaiian has much thicker leaves and more bright yellow that the Summer Nights you showed. Confusing.
I would have picked up the bishops hat cactus. Never knew they were called that. You talked about ferns. I put a small fern in a self watering pot. It’s doing well so far.
I’m so jealous of where you live and the wonderful selection of plants at your box stores. I live in Pensacola FL area and only word I can use to describe our selection is it sucks! Sorry but that’s the best word. We have very little to choose from and the inventory does not turn quickly. You would think a tropical warm area like this would have more but guess you living in a big metro area has its advantages. Anyway I still enjoy watching what you have to select from
What great finds. Will have to make a trip this week to both stores. I took would have chosen the Caladium that you chose. Just beautiful. And the Florida Green. Thanks for sharing.
I’m with you completely on the Caladiums & Begonias, except I would’ve blown the budget.. and grabbed Alocasia Stingray AND Philodendron Brantianum!!💚🌿🌱🍃
I love the caladiums too,but they have a short shelf life as they die back after a few months, however if you save the bulbs they may rebloom.I’ve had no luck😊
Those poor Astrophytums will rot in that soil. Their tap roots are so sensitive to rot. Get one from a more professional nursery that grows them in proper cactus soil. They definitely need mineral soil. Basically just crushed rocks and coarse sand.

I just bought a stunning Monstera Thai Constellation at Walmart.
I'm excited for all these plants coming out.🥰
I would have blown my budget! Bravo to you for sticking to it!
That Caladium is stunning!
Your purchase is gorgeous 🤩. Thanks for taking us with you!

I have watch chain hanging in my front south facing window. I've had to report it twice so far ! Nice plant .
That silver begonia was gorgeous 😀🇨🇦
The Bishops cap, or the Ctenanthe Grey something something by the massive Orbifolia. BTW, I always think of you, when I see Astrophytums 😄
I would’ve gotten the same one you did absolutely stunning❤
I have a caladium myself and it did go dormant, I didn’t do anything with the bulbs and it’s come back pretty well
Lots of lovely plants. I put my ferns in self watering pots, so far even the maidenhair fern is doing ok 😀 I love your Caladium what a great price for the size.
THE BEGONIA 😮 LOOKS AMAZING 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚

I am brand new to plants / the immense love of plants and your channel is exactly what a beginner plant lover needs!!!

Great find Ashley!! Thank you for taking us along.😅

I understand the calladium struggle...i was an hour in with untreated adhd tryin to pick one out 😂

Proven Winners always try to use some weird name to name established named cultivars, it's strange and confusing.
You seriously made me want to drive to Lowe’s lol 😂

I got a “white princess” at Walmart a couple months ago… has anyone heard of this?
Yes. I have heard it can be quite slow growing but still fairly easy to care for
