I have planter fasciitis and these shoes are awesome. I add a pair of Dr.Scholls athletic insoles and it literally feels like I’m walking/running on clouds.
How does it compare to the Mach 4? Looking for an all around training shoe atm for short and mid distance triathlon and I looking at these 2 potentially
Wondering how they compare to NB Rebel V2? I notice both come in a wide and I normally have 2E width so hoping one of these could be a faster day trainer and even for races as I don’t bother with specific race shoes. Thanks
I will disagree with a lot of shoe reviewers in the running sphere, I have the version 1 with over 200km and they still feel good I am sure I can put an extra 200km (I use this shoe for speedy day and races) so happy to hear the improvement on v3. Too bad to hear so many people saying the shoe is dead after 100miles hahaha, people are rich maybe. But I do agree Hoka need to improve the midsole a bit more.
Ha ha, Kieran will never not mention the 7 marathons from here onwards. His headstone will likely read: "Here lies Kieran. He ran the MDS and 7 marathons in 7 days. But he probably already told you that."
Great but nothing has changed from 1 to 2 to 3. They might as well stick with one and launch new colorways. There is no difference enough to call it the 3rd version.
Best thing with Hoka is how they manage to get great athletes like Frodo.
Worth mentioning that unlike the previous Rincons, these also come in a wide. Useful for us with Hobbit feet.
Good point Dan. Thanks for adding.
Need a long term review, say after 250KM, since we all know it will be a great shoe early in it's life.
👍👍 We’re on the case Tim.
Correct, I hate my Clifton 8s after 100km, were great early on.
Only 2 UTMBs!
Come on, we're waiting... ;)
Really useful. I have the Bondi 7, ATR 6 and Mach 4 so will look at these closely. Many thanks 😊

Im size 8 in my new balance 1080 running shoes, is it ok if i have to size half down with the rincon 3?
Love the Rincon 2. Probably get the 3 one it wears out.

Came for the review, stayed to see if Kieran mentioned the 7 marathons ✅ 😁

I think you have a wide feet I can see it's a bit narrow for you. I have duck feet I think a 2E width should do it.
Hoka really needs to stop with basic EVA. Even if these feel good first up, if they don't last then they shouldn't be on the market.
💝
Looks no different. Hoka needs to up their game
