Hello How much you want to start with will depend on the size of farm you want . it's not easy giving a figure do you have the space , For example: 500 birds do you want to use cages (it cost about 130 to 135k for 1 ) you need 5 do you want to raise them from day old chick or buy point of lay (16 weeks layer chicken go for about 3800 Naira now ) feed : they will eat 2 bag in a day ( a bag of layer feed currently sell from 12,500 Naira above ) you won't see your first egg until they are about 19 or 20 weeks You can Multiply this by the number of birds you are looking at I hope these helps

We currently sell at 2,300 Naira from the farm gate. It should be more than this price due to the continuous increase in the cost of layer feed .
heyy, what about water and electricity? how do you ensure a stable supply? And how important are these factors? Sending from Zaria.
We use a generator for pumping water . We don't have much need of electricity at our farm . Thank you for watching
