GFriend were fantastic and they worked so hard for this, stepping up their choreography to award show standards. But why oh why do Source Music have to try and sabotage it by turning out the lights and swamping the stage in awful, overpowering red lighting that hides the powerful dancing and beautiful visuals that GFriend are giving us. I feel so sorry for the members that they work so hard perfecting this choreography for Buddies to enjoy only to discover that their company has no intention of letting Buddies watch it. That is why I love daytime concerts when natural light brings out the beautiful visuals effortlessly and with no expense incurred and stage directors cannot ruin it singlehandedly by making awful lighting choices. It’s GFriend themselves Buddies want to watch. Not clouds of smoke, explosions, fireworks and lasers. That is for 2nd rate groups where you need to distract from their poor live performance and not GFriend where we expect and always get perfection.
