Hi, we will go to this place next week. Can you recomend somebody who is organzing this tour and where you can rent the equipment? Thanks in advance!!!!
Uwe Dietrich Contact Juma on +968 9970 9304. We used our own equipment, so not sure where you would hire from. Wetsuits and good abseiling equipment are a must. Also a lot of swimming, about 3.5km, so you wish to take floats. In total it took us around 11 hours, starting from Umq Bir and finishing in Mibam. The earlier you can start the better. Good luck! J
Hello. Contact "Juma" on +968 9970 9304. The guide is a friend of Juma's. FYI, we took all our own gear (wet suits, abseiling equipment etc...). There is lot of swimming as well - at least 4km worth. Good luck.
mohammed alraisi I would take at least a 30 metre rope. There is a big 15 metre drop near the start, then lots of smaller 8 - 10 metre drops. Make sure you enlist a local guide, and start walking very early in the morning (before 6am). The full trek can take up to 12 hours. Also, I recommend packing wet suits and floats as there is 4km+ of swimming. Best of luck.
