Mel Sharples from Alice as a Crooked Cop What would Alice, Vera, Tommy, Flo, Belle & Jolene do in a situation like this? Knowing Alice she would probably cuss him out and Flo would definitely say KISS MY GRITS!
Those two Lady officers are going to openly share Officer Romano? Now that is what you call a case of the DDDs. Desperate, Destitute, and Determined. Lol.
All offense to the critics, _T.J. Hooker_ is proof that William Shatner could do serious acting.. they just didn't like it. Granted, the show was mostly formulaic and static, but it was better than many of its contemporaries.
My god what shows they were worth watching made you excited to watch TV back then something to look forward to classic 80s plus magnum Simon and Simon streethawk macgyver those were the good old days
24:42-29:24...Red Romano...priceless how he blushes so red and starts stuttering when his two lovers get the same shift and meet each other. So funny, I always laugh so, so hard in that scene! 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
47:15 or so, Phil Tonkin's v/o(WWOR, Channel 9)... "They're partners in solving crime, but now if only they could solve their personal differences... They're *SIMON & SIMON,* coming next, on Channel 9."
4:23. So, Vic Tayback got tired of slinging hash at Mel's Diner on "Alice" and became a detective, huh? LOL. And Mickey Jones, playing a bad guy, aside from his typical biker characters.
This episode is kind of a reunion with Tayback and Shatner, as Tayback appeared in the Star Trek TOS episode 'A Piece Of The Action' 15 years before this
"A Piece of the Action" - such a memorable episode! And Mickey Jones - I've seen him in two episodes of The A-Team (first and third seasons), Simon & Simon, and - dare I forget - as Chris Fa(r)ber in "V: The Final Battle" and "V: The Series".
Hooker and the homicide detective act like they haven't seen each other in ages. But.... they work the same district or he wouldn't be there. So they work in the same building lol
Allen R. Davis, it was the speeding that caught Hooker's and Romano's attention. It doesn't matter if they stopped at the red light. They even admitted to speeding to the leader of their little group. The one that challenged Hooker's authority in the chop shop.
A lot more athletic than Highway Patrol more action and a touch of sex This series was based on more on showmanship than reality, as with other cops and robbers shows of the time. But there was still some good entertainment value there since it hadn't gone overboard into total unreality. Just a good reflection of it's time kind of show.
@@StukInBuf: Na, I think Vince...maybe not Adrian...looks like an old Italian great-uncle. I imagine that Vince...not Adrian...finished law school, moved back east, maybe New York City, became a lawyer, married, had a son, later divorced, came out that he was actually bisexual and had been hiding it for years, retired and now has two teenage granddaughters today.
Just when you think he's going to get whats coming to him, he ends up getting whats coming to him just in a far better way, lucky bastard. Granted his work will suffer slightly at the beginning, but atleast her can skip the gym in the morning.
Which wouldn’t happen in reality, unless the girls have a thing for each other. Unlikely that may be, the way the brunette actress playing “Lisa” keeps throwing her eyes to Vicki sat aside - plus the “agreement” they’ve come together as feminists/sisters - kind of suggests otherwise. They might as well say to Romano: “let’s have a threesome 7 days a week in the academy barracks”. They’d be better off just doing that!
Sid Haig - I've seen him in The Dukes of Hazzard (an episode focusing on mail fraud), Buck Rogers (the two-part first season finale and the two-part second-season premiere), The A-Team (an early first-season episode taking place in Bad Rock, Arkansas, where he portrayed a murderous jailed biker), and the pilot episode of Automan. He sure can portray a villain SO well.
10:48. Gas was twice as much as cigarettes, today cigarettes are twice as much as gas. I thought we were running out of fossil fuels, must be tobbaco were short of.
Shatner rolling over the hood when he totally didn’t have to. That was so funny.
You know Shatner had to do it.
If you saw Galaxyquest, Tim doing all those rolls was him making fun of Shatner. It was hilarious.
You mean TJ...yeh, TJ was great at hood-rolling and hood-hanging.
It's a movie.
@@user-lb3tg2qx8b:
It's a telly show.
"When grandpa did go, at 94, twelve women wept at his grave...not including grandma" made my spit out my tea.

haaa haaaa,,,, yep
Jackass
This was an awsome show. Never missed an episode
...back when television was worth watching.
TJ Hooker, CHiPs, and Hill Street Blues. They don't make shows like that anymore.
Exactly! I grew up on all those
Ah...that was some good television.
Also, Miami Vice. The good old days.
Thank God!
Barnaby Jones and Hawaii Five-0
used to love saturday nights back in the 80's, you had this, the A Team, Dukes of Hazard, nightrider, Chips......... whats on now?..... rubbish
agreed...
AMEN BROTHER
...and Magnum P.I. and the Fall Guy
This show has so much meme potential
Mel Sharples from Alice as a Crooked Cop

Kirk in a police uniform...that's how DeForest Kelly (Dr. McCoy) described the show!
Surprising to realize that this show ran longer than Star Trek
They need to make mention of it in Star Trek to make it canon.
Dammit Jim I'm a Doctor not a Television show reviewer
Officer Romano would be a walking lawsuit in todays world. COST TAX PAYERS HUGE IN SEXUAL HARRASMENT CASE AGAINST POLICE...
At the end I love how Hooker tosses the guns into the liquid molten metal and just lets it splash onto the floor.
otherwise this show is totally realistic. bitch.
Thank you really enjoying ; sweet memories ; wish t v was as good as it was back then ; kind regards.
Frequently the senior cop wants to drive.
Those two Lady officers are going to openly share Officer Romano?
Now that is what you call a case of the DDDs.
Desperate, Destitute, and Determined.
Lol.
I've watched a bunch of these and I've never heard anyone call him 'TJ'. Even his ex-wife calls him 'Hooker'.
T.J. Hooker is my Favorite cop show of all time👌👍👍👍👍👍👮♂🎥📺💖💖💖💖💖
I miss this show on TV was the best
I knew vic was dirty as soon as he showed up.
William Shatner would make a great police officer, like Erik Estrada and Larry Wilcok
A schedule like that at the end could wear a man out. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
All offense to the critics, _T.J. Hooker_ is proof that William Shatner could do serious acting.. they just didn't like it. Granted, the show was mostly formulaic and static, but it was better than many of its contemporaries.
Shatner started in theater so I guess he was very good as an actor.
What is the matter with RUclips taking almost all of tjhooker off .
I liked 1980 Saturday. airwolf
the incredible hulk
the A team
TJ hooker
hunter
chips
street hawk
the fall guy
My dad watches chips
Shakeel Ahmed, you just named my favorites, of which I watched most of. A little bit of Airwolf sometimes. Great memories!

"lets get them junkies"...ripped right out of the cop hand book
show casually opens up with Hooker and his partner walking out of a gay bar called Gay 90s
Interesting and ahead of its time, considering that for years poor Vince...not Adrian...was afraid to come out of the closet about being bisexual.
Spelling loved Locklear. She was in everything he did.
except she isn't in this episode!
William Shatner is one of America's greatest actors. If he was a cop in real life there would be a lot of corrupt cops behind bars.
34-40...Vince's face is so vivid and expressive...I love it...he's cute and funny.
He could have used a tractor beam to stop that speeding van!
Another great episode
Romano is Hot
He's so cute, eapecially with those big brown eyes.
It's sad when you figure it out half way through!
Now Jojo Krako's in charge, LOL Star Trek reference for anyone who's wondering :-)
Sid Haig was such a badass actor 🤡 didn't realize he was in this episode... These old shows are pure gold 🏁🚓🚓

I know, I had to purchase some DVD’s. It’s too bad that RUclips claims copyright laws and don’t allow more videos to be posted
Went to Walmart yesterday and they had the whole complete series on DVD
As far as I remember, one had to wear the seat belt in California since the mid-80's. They aren't wearing theirs on 9:16
This was ‘82.
00:04 The gay 90s bar...formerly known as the Blue Oyster.

Vic tayback was Mel, the cook on the TV show, Alice.

Great show.
He was short black wearing a brown jacket 🙄
muy buena pelucalas
I knew he was going to be the bad Apple in the story, a bit of an obvious plot.
10:48 1.14 1.17 1.33 for gas and to think that was considered high in 82.
