Quantum Leap was one of my favorite shows growing up. These clips taken from the following episodes:
The Leap Home Season 3, Episode 1
Pool Hall Blues Season 2, Episode 18
Piano Man Season 3, Episode 15
This show is like an old friend you visit with from time to time. Never gets old.
I wish they ended it with Sam finally coming hom

He should have won an Emmy
Would give anything to go to a piano bar and hear someone sing Somewhere in the Night like Scott does :)
I've never heard it said outright but it's obvious they mixed in a bunch of plots that involved Bakula doing music so he could show his skills. Thank God they did they were always some of the best episodes.

Never noticed that before, sounded like Dean (Al) joined Scott in the chorus of Imagine.
He did. Though Al didn't approve of Sam giving future knowledge to his family, he did end up singing along for a brief moment during 'Imagine'

That kid acted the shit out of that scene. 1:02-1:52. Yeah, Bacula helped but she brought some chops there. I'd be sad if she didn't have a career after that.

Scott Bakula sang John Lennon's Imagine beautifully. Too bad it was ruined with that sad reaction his sister's and now all she can think about is her oldest brother dying. Her sad reaction also ruined the song for me in general honestly. But now that Sam prevented his big brother from dying in Vietnam, I wonder what she thought of that song now when she first heard John Lennon sang that song? I wonder if the recent reboot will reveal that along with what Tom has been up to after surviving the Vietnam War thanks to Sam?

@@spiderjerusalem4101 And I'm still glad Sam prevented his brother's death in Vietnam because hopefully now Sam's sister doesn't have a negative reaction to John Lennon's song Imagine. I wonder if the Quantum Leap revival will reveal his sister's honest thoughts on that song?
When Sam’s sister hears John Lennon sing Imagine in real time, she realizes her brother was telling the truth and decides not to marry the abusive man she would have married and marries someone else.
