Lex's voting confessional is one of the most hypocritical things I've ever heard on this show. When Lex was voted off, he did not handle it with grace and dignity at all, even after the season was concluded!
I hated Lex! The one thing that gets under my skin the most is hypocritical people, and he is the definition of that. Hope he never comes back! Ethan deserves to though 👌🏻
no no he's saying that it's easy for ppl to win with grace and dignity but it takes a great person to lose with grace and dignity so in a way he was commending ethans character
Ethan is SO different here compared to Winners At War. Here he's so against backstabbing people and making moves. Meanwhile cut to WaW and he genuinely tries to adapt to the fast-pace of the game and is willing to be involved in blindsides. Loved his transformation.
The fact that he was the obvious target since pretty much since day 1 due to him being a former winner, and still survived multiple tribals (making him the alst winner standing) is impressive
I can’t believe how stupid this tribe was. Let’s vote out our two strongest members (Colby and Ethan) back to back and keep the weakest player (Jerri), continue to lose, have an opportunity to split up Boston Rob and Amber and make the numbers closer at the merge but only to vote out someone would’ve been loyal to you (Jerri again), and then when the merge happens they all get picked off. Ugh. Unbelievable, they do not deserve to be called All-Stars!
It was pretty short sighted of Lex. He saw Ethan and Colby as end game threats, but made himself the biggest target merged down in numbers. Boston Rob absolutely would have targeted Colby and Ethan before Lex.
*Ethan’s Final Words:* “I do have some solace in knowing that, uh, I played the game my way. Tonight I had no control over what happened. You know, I fought to the bitter end, and I got further than any other winner, and I'm extremely proud of that, and I wouldn't trade any of this experience. I'll treasure this for the rest of my life. Thank you.”
I understand why people think Lex was being a hypocrite, but he also never promised Ethan anything this season, and he was upfront with explaining he couldn’t move forward with him. Should have voted Jerri here then Amber at the swap, and Tom would have definitely flipped with both Lex and Ethan there.
@@PaulDoe79 idk if you'd call it much of an alliance. Lex put a sharp knife through Ethan's back which ticked me off. I think he was still mad about Africa. Glad Lex got what was coming to him.
@@snuffedtorch3683 the alliance I'm referring to was from Africa. When I say he didn't do much I'm referring to that season. His argument on why he should stay and Jeri should go was ridiculous.
Fun fact: Ethan had once held the record for most days without being voted off with 60 days. His record was broken by Amanda Kimmel with 108 days.
Three Point 0 Actually that's wrong it used to be Big Tom (73 days) until it was broken by Amanda Kimmel
Big Brother Fan Big Tom was voted off on Day 37 in Africa.
Three Point 0 and he made 36 days is All Stars
Three Point 0 that means he played 73 days. 73>60
Big Brother WITHOUT GETTING VOTED OFF. BIG TOM WAS VOTED OFF ON DAY 37.
Lex's voting confessional is one of the most hypocritical things I've ever heard on this show. When Lex was voted off, he did not handle it with grace and dignity at all, even after the season was concluded!
To be fair though, the circumstances surrounding Lex's voteoff were much different than Ethan's

Chris Hurley You got your wish.
At no point did Lex state he could handle it with grace and dignity. He just said that Ethan can.

Percieved Pre game alliances messed it up
I’m still mad that they didn’t vote out Amber or Rob when they had the chance
Stupid people. sTuPiD PeOpLe. Let me just say it again, *STUPID PLAYERS!*
It was pretty short sighted of Lex. He saw Ethan and Colby as end game threats, but made himself the biggest target merged down in numbers. Boston Rob absolutely would have targeted Colby and Ethan before Lex.
I knew he cared about not having a strong competition in merge, but it resulted in nit surviving the merge
I can't believe he is actually coming back. If we can't have Rich, at least Ethan is there to represent old school Survivor.
Old school Survivor ftw. Amber, Danni, Yul, and Boston Rob also are there. Older Survivor is the best imo.
And Sandra don’t forget her
And he's out. For now, potentially
Man... He took 18th place out of 20 possible

Such a nice guy!!
another real all star going pre merge
Poor Ethan. He knew that he had no chance once Colby got blindsided. This was a dumb move on Lex’s part.
why?? who else should he have voted out?
I was cryed when ethan was voted out
me too man i love ethan with my whole heart
Ethan’s a Sweetheart AND a Cancer Survivor. Underrated Underdog Forever!
I just love the 180 from lex’s confessional to when he himself gets got by Rob and Amber lmao
ethan is one of the hottest survivor players hands down. even after years and years AND beating cancer he still looked SO GOOD in season 40
Needs to come back.
He had unfortunately been going through cancer after Survivor, so I doubt he'll return.
Three Point 0 I know, it's just wishful thinking. :(
He will in season 40
Season 40
@@kaedenherrod8367 Wish granted! ❤️
"It's really, really, EZ to win with grace and dignity." I see what you did there, Lex.
I’m surprised Lex voted Ethan because in Africa they were friends but in this season I thought they would team up again but sadly no
And yet he was a bad sport about rob voting him of
It sucks to see Ethan and Colby go, but it was actually a good move on lexs part because he got rid of physical threats right before the merge
Nah not really because he was the merge boot due to being a physical threat lol
@@bossjenkins5875 true but I think he was planning on working with Tom and Rob because they had a pre game alliance
One of my favorite winners.
Should have voted Jerri here then voted Amber then pull Big Tom over and boom there guaranteed to five very dumb moves.

Someone should've shown Lex's voting confessional to Lex a few episodes later...
Lex played one of the worst pre-merge games ever. He made the wrong move at every turn and got exactly what he deserved.
Voted out all the strong guys screw them in challenges.
So Lex backstabbed Colby, his bestie Ethan and his ally Jerri but it was a problem when Rob backstabbed Lex?
Such an All Star, Somehow he convinced them to vote out Hatch & Colby before him
...............Even though he worked with Colby to get out Jerri.
He had no say in the Colby vote he was blindsided aswell
Was Ethan really lex friend after that voting confessional I wonder 🤔
Is it just me or was something cut at 0:50?
LOL, YOU'RE RIGHT.
0:16 that’s a weird transition noise
His disdain for Jerri surprises me. Poor Jerri 😔
HOW YOU DO ;)
Will never forget the tantrum Ethan threw when he learned Jerri wouldn't be going home. "She doesn't deserve to be here!" as if he is in charge
Ethan, Jerri ⚖ Ethan is a better player imo. Jerri didn't really do anything this season. Her only goal was outlasting Colby. Sad.
@@snuffedtorch3683 Ethan didn't do much other than get lucky with an alliance.
