I always thought of “Her Laughing” As Thomas and Martha’s living laugh : Bruce. His existence is a mockery to Jack the Ripper as he’s the physical representation of their love and what could have been his and when killing the Wayne’s he wanted Bruce dead too I think that’s actually really cool

Im just gonna pitch this idea to Sal and the gang. How about when you guys reach episode 189, for the next 10 episodes of Back Issues, you cover the more relevant volumes of Ultimate Spiderman, with episode 200 covering the Death of Ultimate Spiderman. If that cant be the case, thanks for reading.

I definitely want to pick this trade up now! Surprising amount of restraint on the author for not even mentioning Sherlock Holmes. Surprised DC hasn't tried to use this mythos to release a sequel with Holmes as well.
I just read this story for the first time and thought it was pretty good, although I immediately called Jake being the ripper but then dismissed it because it was too obvious lmao. I also got caught up on The Kryptonian Age and have been very pleasantly surprised. Seemed like just another story with issue 1 but they've been doing some insane worldbuilding and making it a whole DC universe story. Hope to see you cover what you've thought of it so far on the next Off the Rack!

Quick aside - While it is true that Philip Kane in Snyders run is supposed to be a sort of homage to Bob Kane. The in continuity explanation is he was the Brother of Colonel Jacob Kane (father of Batwoman) and Martha Wayne (who's maiden Name is Kane) Kinda shows why Colonel Kane was always pissed at Bruce in a way. Ever since he was born his family members end up dying. Lol
Your genealogy is off, by By your logic Kate Kane would be his aunt. Jacob would have to be Martha's sibling, in order for Kate to be his cousin, which he is.

jeremy kampman... But Jacob "Is" Martha's Sibling. They established that in Detective comics, that's why Bruce calls him Uncle Jacob.
