This is still one of the best rivalries every... both were actual badasses in real life.. I always wanted Van Damme to play Wolverine, and Dolph to play Sabertooth as a kid before they casted Hugh Jackman... I think Van Dammes hieght, his quiet "man of a few words" persona, he's french (Wolvie is Canadian), and he was always great at screaming, and being insanely angry. Also give him that hair style, and mutton chops it's over. Then Dolph is towering blonde over him... it would've been perfect. Especially with 80's/90's film aesthetics. What a shame it never happened. Patrick Swayze as Cyclops. COME ON!

Dolph Lundgren had 7 inches of height on JCVD. It's interesting that when Lundgren auditioned for the part of Ivan Drago in Rocky IV, the casting director told him that he was "too tall". How in the hell can a monster antagonist to Rocky Balboa be "too tall"? In addition, the athletic Lundgren was well-proportioned. Saying that he was too tall at 6'4.5" is laughable -- especially when you want the audience to believe that Drago could punch with 2,100 p.s.i. of force. The bigger the villain is, the more believable it is that he can punch that hard. 😆

Dolph explained that Jean Claude had ran this past him in the limo, but was vague. He said it was just something about we need to make a big scene, leave an impression. But Dolph was not sure what he meant.
Dolph got confused, and seriously irritated when it happened because he thought Jean Claude was trying to make him look bad or something. You see the moment Jean Claude starts signaling security. That was real, the joke had gotten a little out of hand lol.
