      Cheers my friend and you wont go wrong on there mate you will definitely enjoy it when it warms up they like there boilie as well 👍👍👍👍

    • @ChasingCarpDS
      @ChasingCarpDS 5 лет назад

      Cast-A-Line Heseltine cheers mate, did you find the spot mix added anything? I was considering a boilie and spod mix myself as I didn’t think there was too much in the way of nuisance fish in there. Got a range of boilie options so a mix of those too and see what gets them going.

    • @cast-a-lineheseltine4514
      @cast-a-lineheseltine4514  5 лет назад +1

      @@ChasingCarpDS best thing I can tell you mate is they dont like the sound of the spomb so it's best to do it when your not expecting a bite, but yes it does help hold them. As for the mix I went down that route cos of the catfish they are a big pain in the ass there if you put alot of fish meal out you will defo catch them lol and they push the carp off your spot its would be worth using a good nut base boilie etc rather than fishmeal unless you dont mind a few cats

    • @ChasingCarpDS
      @ChasingCarpDS 5 лет назад

      @@cast-a-lineheseltine4514 dont mind a cat but certainly dont go out there specifically for them, it's carp all the way unless something happens upon the bait. Got some decent nutty and spicy fruit baits so will give them a go on there. Cheers for the advice mate, appreciate it 👍👌

    Great video mate have you ever fished Castle Ashby near Northampton? I am looking forward to going to Blue Bell but thought of fishing Blue Bell lake. I am going mid March. Any thoughts / advice?

    • @cast-a-lineheseltine4514
      @cast-a-lineheseltine4514  5 лет назад

      No I've not fished Castle before, and bluebell lake is quite deep placing traps in the margins works very well in spring time also they love floaters in there it can be quite prolific at times. If you can place a rig under the overhanging trees where people dont cast and keep everything low key you wont go wrong mate, as for bait they are not fussy in there but they are clued up to angling pressure so I find just fishing for a bite at a time better then putting alot of bait in 👍👍👍

    • @cast-a-lineheseltine4514
      @cast-a-lineheseltine4514  5 лет назад

      Cheers mate at the moment i'm using a bass fishing line which is designed for casting called Yuki which is made in japan. I will touch on this in more detail once the first episode goes live for Grenville.

    Great video fella, keep them coming.
    Only thing to improve it is to cut the music.
    When we fish there is no music, why add it to videos ?
    It takes away the actual atmosphere of the session.
    Apart from that great, great stuff. Subbed. 👍

      Hi Dave thanks mate and noted some people love it and some don't maybe need to find a balance between them with some mellow stuff it's very hard to get music due to copyright I really struggle to find what I need
