Unfortunately, IMPORTRANGE will only load all rows including the hidden ones. To resolve your case, you can consider the following workaround: make a duplicate of your sheets with hidden rows. Remove the hidden rows in the duplicated sheet and use it in your IMPORTRANGE formula. I'm not sure whether this trick will work for your case since each case is particular. If you find a better solution, please share it in this comment. This will be a valuable information :)

If a create a copy it will create a new link and it should be update for every cell. Is there any way to update the link on the sheets, maybe with a multiple selection? I can't find an answer but I think it should be possible! Thnks in advance..
Good video...but I'd add that on the IMPORTRANGE between different books, in order to get easier expressions to read, you can omit the cell of the beginning, can also substituye the whole URL with only the ID, can also omit the name of the sheet, with the separator, if the book has only one sheet, as it takes data from first sheet, by default, and, on the QUERY, you could use the original A,B,C columns, by their name, instead of using Col1, Col2, etc...

You can't edit generated content directly in-place in the same cell, you can however, manipulate your data in another cell or put the whole importrange formula inside function such as query, vlookup and do what you want. But the first option (another cell) is way cleaner and simpler.

If you want to add title/header to dynamically generated data, you can put the title and data inside curly brackets " { } " and separate them with semicolon for vertical rows or comma for horizontal ones . Something like : ={"Date of Birth"; text("02/02/2020", "MM/DD/YYYY") }. I hope this helps!
Basically, you need to do the opposite of what you see us doing at 2:29 So you may want to limit the range of cells you're transferring data from. If that's not what you looking for, just copy and paste data from one sheet to another manually. Because the IMPORTRANGE function is essentially about syncing data. Hope this helps!

Use: Split(YOUR_IMPORTRAGE, "DELIMITER"). It's so easy if there's a DELIMITER like comma or other char between the name and phone.. otherwise you can use space as separator but it will be a bit of challenge as the name itself is separated by space.

As far as I know there is no way to do so with the importrange function, but I guess you can do that with google app script.
