Great tip for audiobooks, because I have a terrible attention span too😅. Is to do something else (but something easy and mindless) while listening to an audiobook. Like coloring, I'll even use a coloring app on my phone. Or painting, Journaling, etc.
I am going to try to do that during one of my card making sessions. Thanks for the tip!

I loved teaching the students her books...Once, a very long time ago I taught gifted students and we put on a play from The Mitten...it was so adorable! Can't wait to read her books, I have been very busy with all these readathons that I haven't had time to start on them yet.

Thanks to you! I have always loved fairy tales but I think I love retellings even more! When I taught middle school we did a fairy tale unit in my Gifted class...it was so much fun!

So inspiring! Maybe for the recommendations page, you could use the lily strips again and create a log with “book”, “author”, “genre”, and “recommended by” columns???

I owned a lot when I was a teacher...handed them down to family...at my Great-Grandson's baby shower they did a "bring a book" along with your gift instead of a card. I handed over my copy of The Easter Egg and wrote a special note to him about Jan Brett being my favorite author. They are really special!
@CreativelyFaithful awww i love that!!! I know that will be a treasured book for him! I asked the same thing for my shower for my daughter and I have to say my favorites were the Jan Brett ones!
I listen to a ton of audio books, particularly last year. I have a best audio book of last year Video, if you need some suggestions 😊
