I was wondering if you could share a bit about your journey as an artist, like when you started out and how long you have been painting/making art, along with the resources you used to learn how to paint.
As a beginner artist experimenting with watercolor, seeing such gorgeous paintings like yours make me question if I am good enough to ever reach that level of skill, so I find it comforting to be reminded of how much time and effort it has taken artists that I admire to reach their level of skill.
For some reason i have this weird belief that art is something that you either have talent for and can master on your own, or you don't, so I end up feeling like if I need to take classes and lessons in order to produce nice looking art, then that would mean I'm not talented enough to ever make paintings like yours. I know that this belief isn't true, but it really feels like it is, and it can be discouraging and make me feel like I shouldn't utilize all of the resources I can in order to learn, because if I was to use a resource and then that improved my art, then that would mean I'm not a "true artist" and so I'll never be able to reach my dreams and goals. It makes no sense, but for some reason this is something that has really been affecting me and holding me back from learning.

i will make a video about it but it took me 4 years to get where I am with watercolours so don’t beat yourself up about it, it’s about practice and everyone makes progress at their own pace :)
