Awwww.......My Brit also LOVED to be brushed. He had a loud purr as well. However, the cat I had before him was CRAZY loud. She had 3 levels of purr. From low to high. Anyone who visited were amazed how loud my cat's purr was. I miss my Brit and wanting to get another. He will never be replaced, but I'm in love with British Shorthair breed.
