This is my first fathers day without my dad. He passed away in February of this year.

There's a difference between seeing eye to eye and neglect and abuse. I'm glad you had a good relationship with your father, but that's often not the case for a lot of us. A lot of fathers don't want a loving relationship (or any relationship) with their kid(s).

Legally treason is a very narrowly defined crime in the US. The country has to be at war with somebody, and to commit treason you have to aid the other side against the US. The people who wrote the constitution were horrified at the way "Treason" in England was so vague that anybody could be convicted of it on the whim of the king.
It's a great question. But at this point, I'm just wondering when it become immediate prison time...
