Amen. What I always liked about Spartacus is they didn’t stray to far away from history, and didn’t try to overstretch the series. Even knowing the rebellion falls, they did an amazing finale that actually let you believe for a slight moment that Spartacus was going to win. Great show, excited for the return with Spartacus: House of Ashur
Spartacus' body was never found. Romans claim they cut him down as he tried to reach Crassus. It is very hard to believe they would not crucify him or bring his head to Rome. There are historians who believe he actually escaped and returned to his Thracian homeland.
Love Spartacus, ganicus and crixius with all my heart. I never wish them to dead just like that ways but they did allt the possibilities😢! We're all Spartacus ❤❤
Spartacus wasn't a hero. He and his men plundered and massacred and raped from town to town, city to city. He never advocated equality for all men like the movie portraited. Infact, he made Roman prisoners his slave and forced then to fight to the death. He was a nightmare to the ppl living in Italic Peninsula.
Sadly no but theres a series called "Gods of the arena" i know that eneomaus and ganicus will be in that show. Gods of the arena happens before spartacus
The representation of the crucifixions along the Appian Way, after the battle, is highly santised so as not to offend the sensibilities of a mass TV audience. Kore and Gannicus, along with the rest of the more than 6,000 followers of Spartacus the Romans captured, would not have recieved the simple dignity of being clothed for their execution. instead, in common with the Romans regular crucifixion practice, all endured the protracted agony of crucifixion stripped stark naked to ensure their deaths were as degrading and as utterly humiliating as possible. Some estimates speculate that roughly 30-40% of those executed in the aftermath of Spartacus's defeat were woman . Exactly like the men, these women recieved no concessions to their modesty, Kore and the other 1,800-2,400 women died totally naked.
If crixus emotions was controlled deir combined army woulda stand a chance to outflank crasus army and dat was crixus demise inda hands of a young egomaniacal Roman sad ending
No. Crassus was at all times leading what was a novice army that he stood up on his own for the occasion. The real armies of Rome were only just coming home. Had the slaves done nothing but make a break for the north and to escape into the germanic lands they could have had a hope, but all attempts at combat were doomed.
Do I start to cry now ? When they had the chance to get out , they did not ! DUH . Rome will give you one chance and only one and they decided rape and plunder was worth the chance ? For one reason or another , they were slaves . The lands they came from had Roman slaves ! What's the problem , Don't like Roman's ? Crassus was in his 50's did not take his Gladius out and Sparticus got no where near him . 100,000 to 10,000 ? Even With Pompey and Lepidus on the way , there were no 100 K Romans combined ! Sorry folks , he was a slave who forgot what he was . Three days on a cross will remind you who you are .
I'm not satisfied with the ending let alone Crasus still alive and even Caesar. If both Caesar and Crasus were dead along with Spartacus then it would be a justified ending. Just my own opinion tho. 😅
You DO know that history demanded Crassus and Ceasar live since a show titled Spartacus would end with the death of Spartacus and the end of rebellion. If it makes you feel any better they do get their own horrific deaths, you just have to wait 20-30 years.
RIP Andy! True warrior!
This is one of the best ending any fan can hope for. Every major character died and it eas satisfying and justified. GOT should take a look

Not every major character
No Spartacus should have been killed by crassus
So refreshing to know that Crassus goes on to die mired in a puddle of piss after defeat by the Parthians at Carrhae

Those are some big arrows, otherwise known as spears or javelins.
Ballista bolts. The giant crossbow-like weapon firing them is a Roman ballista.
If only Crixus army would've still been around they've could've joined and won this battle.
Best tv series ever. The very opposite of the acolyte.
Is there season 4
Sadly no but theres a series called "Gods of the arena" i know that eneomaus and ganicus will be in that show. Gods of the arena happens before spartacus
Ganicus the God of the arena.❤
How S8 of game of thrones should have ended

Seeing a fierce warrior crasus should have befriended spart and left with a retreat

Yes indeed it's so sad, but he fight him from the back as a small warrior.!

Why? Crassus will find his end in Parthia and Ceasar in the Senate.
