if you trust it for the tournament round for 17, throw something over the right side roughage. after hitting the big guardian in the dead center so many times you just gotta learn to lay it on the line there. I'll throw my pro wraith board flat, get a nice gentle turn into the rough and fade back to c1 of silver. something you see the locals do fairly often.
same thing with 3, if you believe in yourself hard enough (lol) you can throw a hyzer around the right side of the guardian and fade reliably to a spot that's manageable for the birdie look and if it goes bad you still aren't stuck on the left side. I've also seen people land on the path between the fairway and 4's teebox and blast over top.

Over the top on 17 is my normal play. I was just done with my round by that point and picked the wrong disc to turnover. Over the top on 3 use to be my play, and I maybe take it as a winter line with the right wind, but I've hung myself out right or sawed off the shot and pinched myself in the left rough too many times to make it my stock play. I normally just take a putter or mid to the short basket and hyzer around for the birdie look.

I think Fort Washington is the hardest course around the Philly area. It's not just the technical aspect of the course but the scary thought you have if you miss your line and have to be in the thorny roughs.

I feel like it's the only TRUE golf course in the area. You can't just yeet a drive for distance and then figure things out. You HAVE to play position and execute if you want to score.
