For me I think at the beginning Mercy and Eezee didn't sign any contract, but after Eezee saw that Mercy was getting fame and respect, he taught about about that and made a contract signing paper cause he knows now money will be coming so Mercy didn't take the time to read and understand properly the written things on the contract because she taught they were family and Eezee can never cheat her
Misunderstanding pertaining money do happen.... Even in our families, siblings sometimes have 'big' misunderstandings.. Its a phase.. It will pass.. God will help them reconcile because they are both his children..They might not 'work' together per say, but there will definitely be restoration...and it might have been a change that was needed..who knows?...

Yes, I do think something happened between Mercy and the label. But the music video is not enough proof of what happened.
In your vlog, you keep using the phrase, "Mercy is saying..." Meanwhile in reality, Mercy is saying nothing, she only released a music video. I think you should have stuck with simply interpreting the video, without saying she said something.

That's because she already left eezee conceptz way before the wedding. It's even surprising that they showed up. True, we know Eezee conceptz more because of Mercy but we also know Mercy more because of Eezee. How much fame did Nigerian idols give her? Do you know the other people that won it? I do because I followed the show then but it's excess love that brought Mercy out. I can't take sides coz we don't know eezee's side of the story. I just hope they settle their differences as this is not good enough for the gospel

I also feel that gospel artiste should also learn to understand the legal side of music, content ownership and streaming rights. Not just the spirituality side but also have a proper understanding of contract binding and negotiations. If you don't understand ask questions to the experienced and seek legal advice prayerfully. This is so sad.

She is telling about a musician's journey in the industry, she starts from the competition but there is a lot we may never know if its real or ficticious. She doesnt play instruments, that girl plays a keyboard and a guitar. So even the contracts we see maybe partly true or partly ficticious no one knows unless she comfirms it.

Judikay posted her song 'Confidence', she ignored. Even GUC has been posting her for her marriage, birthday etc, she ignored all the posts. It is obvious the gospels singers under eezee label are not fighting her, she 'mercy' is the one fighting them. If she wants to leave the label, it her right and her choice, I'm not against that at all but why is she angry with the gospel singers under the label?

First she unfollow GUC. If you check GUC, u will see how he constantly celebrated Mercy on her birthday and for her marriage, no response from Mercy. Even judikay has been posting Mercy, no response from her. Mercy will not celebrate them or say thank you to their posts they made about her. I love GNT record I think it's better than EZEE concept cause the video confidence looked so matured than EZEE videos and she's gonna make it more than before cause personal idea is better than someone elses. I actually met EZEE on 2014 when he was at okporo Eze weli plaza, I think then he was trying to built he's career though he told me to come when ever am ready but I never returned so for the contract with mercy he didn't know that mercy will shine like that and that's why he upturned the formality contract.
It's good to learn how to handle servants of God when you get involved in their life's to me Enzee could have known how to go about it immediately Mercy got married... Because Mercy is under someone authority her husband.. allow them to serve God.
Her video is pure. Whatever you think happened between them is not yet revealed. After all she was not the first to liv, how about Preye Odede, he was with Eezee concept too. So allow whatever that happened between them to die off just pray for them. For the rebellious aspect you said is a big lie. I can vividly remember what Eezee tee said about mercy chinwo on her birthday: how she is selfless so if you think he said so that's a lie or is it because she has left?

Judikay has recently posted that she did not have control or access to the Ezee global page that has all her music. Perhaps Ezee Conceptz has locked her out of her social media accounts like they did to Mercy. 😮

I'm glad she's past the drama now and has gotten her mandate back. My question now is how was she able to get the musical rights back coz it's now on her channel? I also don't believe the contract was swapped in her prescence, that's a very far reach. I feel she didn't read and understand the contract properly. See how she never even went through the contract again till she felt she was cheated. It is well. She also didn't talk about her relationship with Eezee from way back before Nigerian idols which is why he considers her rebellious. The drama is not good enough for the gospel. Too many hypocrisy here. None of you know what happens between them. Hopefully, they will iron out their differences. There is a bigger problem and many of you don't seem to take heed. Contracts are written to be read, reviewed and addendum requested when and where necessary. In the doctrine of law in general, ignorance is not an excuse. There is a reason why you always have a lawyer review your contracts where a large amount of money and control exist. You have to do your own due diligence. No one will do it for you outside your own lawyer and yourself, assuming you have basic knowledge and ideas about contracts and associated obligations. For those of you commenting here, you are supposed to stay neutral until you have all the facts.
