PSA: the thing to remember about "Beyond" and other vegan "meats": 1. They use a lot of chemicals for which there is very little info on how they affect our bodies 2. They have added sugar to make them palatable. 3. There is a common misunderstanding that because they are veggie based, they are "lighter" and therefore healthier. READ your labels. COMPARE a boneless skinless chicken breast to a vegan or vegetarian meat product. Pay close attention to the serving size. Eat what you like, but understand what you are eating. Ignore marketing.

We love Regal Eagle, too! I always get the Carolina Pork Butt platter with slaw, beans, and pickles and I put the vinegar sauce on the meat 😋

Brisket looks like roast beef. No comparison to TX bbq brisket. Where’s the potato salad, cole slaw? Two bbq staples in TX.

This is one of the places I'm really looking forward to trying next month. The pickles not being homemade is disappointing!
Unless they changed it, I thought they used a Beyond Burger and not an Impossible Burger at The Regal Eagle.
I like a sweet sauce, like at Bono's, and the fall off the bone ribs. But i do like Regal Eagel too. I really want to try their banana pudding
