@@swiftlylovestruck yeah but I think Matt doesn’t do it intentionally. I think in the moment he felt that him not liking coffee or tea made it hard for him to share his thoughts but then he took a moment to gather his thoughts and then express his opinion and that pissed Nick off. Matt did nothing wrong he just happened to be the one causing Nick to explode when he was already in a mood prior to filming the podcast. Nick even said he didn’t know why he was so aggravated and annoyed by Matt. They just have poor communication skills and either bottle their feelings up or express themselves in an annoying and negative way. Matt may sometimes say he has nothing to say on a topic but sometimes it’s because at that exact moment he doesn’t feel like ha can have an opinion but when he takes a minute to think and can find a way to chime in then he does and it can come across as him being rude as some people say. I just think needs more than 2 seconds to answer a question or state his opinion but Nick and Chris rush him then yell at him when he finally has something to say on a topic

@@solangeknight well he tried to diffuse it when he told Matt and Nick to hug it out but then decided to add in the option of them fighting which you could tell he was joking. Matt tried to make amends with Nick but Nick was being sulky and continued holding his grudge with Matt and that resulted in Matt reacting more and pushing Nicks buttons (as a middle child I can relate). At the end of the podcast both Chris and Nick attacked Matt which I think was wrong, they should have waited until they stopped filming. Humiliating someone like that tearing them apart can have a negative affect on that person and result in resentment. They all need to learn better communication skills, find seperate hobbies, and take a break from filming and eachother for a few days. They’re together 24/7 and it’s normal for sibling relationships to get rocky. Like I don’t think they’ve ever gone and done something alone like gone away for a couple days by themselves or with a friend. Plus filming and posting as much as they do can cause a lot of stress and burnout and because they live together they have no choice but to all be in all the videos, they don’t have the option of sitting out of one if one of them is feeling off or not having a good day.

I agree and I think where Matt sits is probably the most awkward and uncomfortable spot cause he’s confined like Nick and Chris have more open space where Matt doesn’t. I mean I’d have a really hard time sitting still too and having something behind my head like the leaves would be annoying because I would be focusing more on not accidently pulling the thing down and constantly having those leaves touching the back of my neck. I also have ADHD and claustrophobia so I can’t sit still especially when I feel like I’m trapped or confined to a small area.

I love how Chris gets in touch with his thoughts and feelings and really speaks about his love for the east coast and with so much passion and pride in it. He really is such a sweet soul and I love listening to him talk even when he just rambles on, you can just tell he has so much to say and I love it. I’m impressed he didn’t lose it though and just kept calm and stayed on topic carrying on the podcast while Nick held his grudge with Matt. Chris just has such a soothing voice and I love his view of life and how much he really cherishes his childhood and growing up in Boston

He has such a deep love for life and it’s evident how much he really cherishes Boston, family, friends, and all his childhood memories. He may ramble a lot and sometimes not make sense or bounce from one memory or topic to another but I just love hearing the emotion and passion in his voice and him vocalizing the things he loves and cherishes

I think Nick and Chris are so used to him being quiet and not speaking or him speaking too quiet that when Matt does speak and says his thoughts and opinions or disagrees with what Nick or Chris say, Nick and Chris get annoyed and start bitching at Matt. That was one regret I have from when I lived in Ontario was that I didn’t get a chance to visit NY, Boston, Maryland, etc because during my college breaks I was flying back home to BC to spend time with my parents as my dad was going through chemo at the time. i've been watching them since 2021 cause i loved the dynamic between the 3 of them but i kinda stopped for a while and just recently started watching them again and the way matt gets treated now compared to back then is crazy.

Honestly I feel like the "oh they're just siblings its not that serious" excuse is getting old. Just because you're siblings doesn't mean you cant make mistakes or intentionally/unintentionally hurt one another. People tend to brush bad sibling dynamics under the rug with the excuse of siblings will be siblings or that we don't know anything about them (which is true to an extent BUT based on what we see in these videos their dynamic has obviously shifted into something negative) so its really validating hearing yall call out their dynamic for what it is.

Me too! Then again I have struggled with body dysmorphia my entire life so each day is a struggle and I have to remind/force myself to eat otherwise I would go days without eating. I hate eating food especially around other people including when I go on dates (my eating anxiety is the highest and I’m also very picky ) sometimes I will go 5 days without eating which I know is not healthy but it’s how I cope sometimes with my stress and anxiety.

Agreed and I think in a year or 2 if not sooner, Matt will decide to move out on his own. I think they need to start doing more things independently or go back to Boston seperately for a bit or go away for a weekend with a friend without the other two. I just think Matt is happiest when he’s back home in Boston and tbh I wouldn’t be surprised if he were to move back there without Nick and Chris.

@@silversin_66 my siblings and I don’t live close to eachother, my closest sibling is my brother who lives in Penticton (4.5hr drive from where I live), my other brother (his twin) lives in Missouri and my sister lives in the Cayman Islands. They’re all married and have kids (or a kid) so we don’t get to physically see eachother often but when we do we definitely cherish those moments more

i’m from new hampshire and i love going apple picking and eating apple cider donuts in the fall, seeing the first snow fall of winter, looking at all of the flowers bloom for the first time in spring and mud season because you know it’s going to get warm, and having pool parties during the summer time. i think growing up as a kid in new england was super special and i wouldn’t give it up for anything. even as an adult i still feel the magic but i can appreciate the nature so much more!

Well said! As someone who has and continues to struggle with body dysmorphia, everyday is a struggle and I have to remind and force myself to eat everyday. The worst/hardest for me is when I’m at a friends or on a date because my anxiety with food and eating infront of people is high.
I'm a guy and I have this exact same problem I have terrible anxiety and depression and I have an ed 😭
Yeah I think he just meant food feels like a chore not that he’s restricting himself which I understand cause I get in those moods too where I feel like food doesn’t really taste as good.
They make me happy and make me smile all day
their podcast are the only thing i can sit still and pay attention to the entire time without getting bored
i lived in massachusetts my whole life and i still do so hearing them talk about the slang and the words we use here makes me so happy because i understand every single east coast word they talk about in this episode.
