I am just loving your farm animals! They all running like they are late for work!😀😀😀😀😀 reminds me of my grand father's farm animals! They are so beautiful and y'all have a very nice farm!
Hi Kevin, Sara and family. Your shoats look great. Backgrounding them in the woods and brush is the way to go. If you really want to cut down on Woody undergrowth turn out some goats into the area where you going to put your pigs before you get them. The goats will eat the brush and the pigs will clean up the lower growth and work the soil so you were the area with grass that you want for a woods pasture. A homestead farm is always a work in progress so keep the hard work.
This is a wonderful video for children to watch and learn what is out there besides cell phones and other devices. The turkeys are adorable, and the pigs may have shorter lives, but in reality, they are happier than most humans.
Hi Kevin and Sarah My hubby and I live in the North Central Arkansas Ozarks and raise pigs for our own use as well. I love that you let your pigs forage it's so good for them and for your land. We've used them to till our garden in the past and they are really good at it. A little Secret to great tasting pork is to begin feeding them acorns every day just prior to butchering. The meat tastes SO good after doing that.
I just looked up at your shirt! LOL! I was enjoying watching how friendly the pigs are, and how you were petting them and talking to them. Back the video now.
Out of all the vlogs I subscribe, yours is my favorite. You both keep me smiling throughout your post. Ya’ll are such a blessing to me. Thank you and thank you Lord for this couple and their family. God is so good and He is using you both to bring education and much joy to your viewers. May our Lord guide, protect and continue blessing upon you all. We are blessed. Thank you 🙏
Thank you so much for sharing this video you both are blessed only some of us can just imagine would love to have something like this I'm just a city boy one day I hope thanks again.

Hi guys, you have i spired me. I now have 2 small swimming pool gardens. I just learned about Mesquite been jelly, I am going to make some. I have Mesquite beens everywhere
He's so gentle and kind to them just like Christ tells us to be as stewards of His creation. I imagined that Christ would have talked to the animals that way.
I like when you say good morning and you let those animals out I always think about all the 🐖 will be some salt meat or 🥓 for breakfast and I will like it the way you have it out there it looks great and quiet ,I see they loves you just like you and your wife loves those pretty animals and crops ,God is on your side

The ducks could have their own channel... Great video, love it all. I Got 4 nice zucchini, 5 cucumbers, 4 tomatoes, one last handful of green beans, fresh basil, 3 eggs, and a handful of strawberries from my little raised beds and back yard coop today. Love this time of year!
Absolutely great. It's a wonderful homestead. You should be proud. It brings back some of the most wonderful memories. Too many don't know the flavor of fresh-picked vegetables or they would be an abundance of 'Victory Gardens'. This was a pleasure to watch.
I so enjoy watching. I remember when you had so much rain and then planting your garden and waiting and then the bugs..... you guys are so great. They way you teach us is so relateable and I learn so much!!!!
Wow! Everything is really looking great. Amazing how God has blessed. Even the hat Kevin was wearing towards the end of the video. Praying you sell all you take to the farmers 👨🏼🌾👩🏽🌾 market.

I owe both of you a BIG Thank You. I started watching your channel last winter and I have learned SO MUCH from both of you. This could be a great video also. Thank you both for all you do. .
I enjoy your videos and appreciate the effort that goes into producing so many each week. I think there can be a lack of appreciation for the amount of time and energy that goes into it. I know I’ve learned a lot from following along.
Good Morning, Those turkeys have the sweetest little sound..loved seeing all of your animals...Congrats on your melon crops...fascinating clip on the pinto beans...never seen them on the vine, & the cooking storing info...enjoying all of the teaching on everything also..."Thank You"...
It's so refreshing to see a couple of really nice people like you guys. Away from the hussle and bussle of large cities and their competition to get ahead.
Love your way of life. I love seeing the animals come out for the day. I get so much pleasure watching gardens grow. Your gardens are awesome. Thank You so much and God Bless. Hugs from OHIO
I love the way your animals know when it’s time to eat. Like when you open their doors and they run like the wind for their food. I watch your videos when I have my morning coffee. I live in YUMA, AZ. I’m a widow, so can’t enjoy growing my own food, and raising my own animals. When I was young, I loved and worked in Phoenix. So I know where you’re coming from..I’m glad you have decided that this is how you want to spend your years, and I can really relate to it. Hoping you all have a very happy healthy life in the years to come. God Bless 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
After watching your early season videos I was interested in your ground cover . I went to a area Greenhouse and got some. I totally Love it. I can go out anytime rain or shine and don’t have the mud ! What a great thing . Love Love Love it! Thanks . Love watching you guys. So nice to start my day with you guys. Blessings to all.
Lee Tee I went to a green house and bought mine. Mine as actually woven Landscape fabric. Water will go through it but weeds will not. But as I was getting mine they said Menards or other lumber yard type place carry the Landscape fabric too. So you might be wanting to check these type places. At the greenhouse in St.Peter MN. They said there are different widths of this fabric . 3 ft., 4ft. And I think 6 ft. Width. And don’t forget to get fabric stapes for tacking it down. Hope this helps. Other wise I believe Kevin and Sarah have it on there site where they get there’s. I purchase a full roll of it. Hoping to cover my whole garden. Need to get a small torch to burn holes in it. My husband google on line and saw some on UTube called > Quick crop, Growgrid Vegetable Mat and weed Control .
My favorite to see in the am are the ducks who run like they are late for something terribly important. So funny. Kevin’s shirt does not lose its statement on me while he is petting the pigs.
Hello. I was raised in the country and still today, I love my gardens. I do follow your shows and you mentioned the bugs. For a time I had forgotten and was not used to doing this till the bugs took over my garden. Well I had remembered what my mother had taught me. Just a tip on bugs. You can use wood ash to dust your plants. The bugs don't like it and will tend to go somewhere else. I think the wood ash covers the smells of the plants and therefore, the bugs can't smell them, and your garden will flourish. Happy gardening.
You can also mulch with cedar chips. Bugs hate cedar. But don't use them in hamster or guinea pig cages...it will cause fatal respiratory problems. Cedar is great for gardens, but not for pets.
The woven ground cover is awesome! We have used it this year for the first time and it has saved us so much time in weeding. Thanks so much for recommending it in your videos! :)
