I always feel peace from being around the hills and mountains in Arkansas. I didn’t appreciate it that much until I went to college and spent several years in Texas. I moved back to Arkansas because I missed the real trees we have here. Mesquite and the dry air in Texas don’t hold a candle to the Natural State.

Really admire the Arkansas State Troopers and really the entire police force there. My sister lives in Prescott and I’m thinking about relocating to Arkansas. I love NC, but Arkansas folks are really down to earth ❤ #RespectTheBlue

That was a Drug Task Force (DTF) Agent the Trooper called. They like to let the offender spend a little time in the jail before they talk to them. Once they get a taste of jail life, it tends to loosen their tongues. He’s going to have to help them make some controlled buys, or hook them up with the dealer, to keep from getting charged with a felony and going to Cummins or one of the other state prisons.
The DTF is using tried and true methods to make people talk. Anyone that has knowledge of a dealer and is willing to make a buy or connect them with a buyer, help them out. They welcome tips. Just know it may take them a while to get to different areas of their multi-county agency. They only have two agents covering the whole 15th Judicial District.
It is a 4 county area consisting of Scott, Yell, Conway and Logan counties. Here is there most recent published figures. By the way, they were ranked #1 of the 18 Drug Task Forces in the state. The 15th DTF is made up of two Agents, one Director and one Fiscal Officer and is responsible for working a four-county area under the supervision of Prosecuting Attorney Thomas Tatum I1. This includes Conway, Logan, Scott, and Yell counties.
The following is a list of some of the things this task force has done in the first quarter to serve and protect the citizens in our Judicial District.
The number of collaborations we have had with other agencies is 262; Confiscation reports were 27; Estimated value of Drugs confiscated was 48,112,797.00; Total number of Drug Grams seized was 911,484g; This total includes the following; Crack Cocaine, Heroin, Fentanyl, Commercial Grade Marijuana, Marijuana Plants, Hydroponic Marijuana, Edible Marijuana, Methamphetamine Ice, Opioid Pills, and Vape Pens and Cartridges. Also, the total value of money, firearms, vehicles and Physical Property (residences) seized amounted to $419,154.00.

Col. Hagar and his instructor team, teach the ASP troopers to engage the people in harmless and inquisitive conversations, eventually they incriminate themselves, especially with a second person within a vehicle, because a story didn't match. This is called Counterintelligence protocol, it works!

You can tell Trooper Hess wants meth out of this area. Unfortunately once it moves in, it grows like wildfire and next thing you know the entire area will never be the same again. The poor get poorer as they go thru the revolving jail door.

I'm sure this is going to be unpopular opinion but i think the videos where someone agrees or even hints to the fact that they might snitch shouldn't be shown on social media. You never know who watches these videos and it could end up costing someone their life.

Props to Trooper Hess for conducting an arrest with respectful professionalism. However, I don’t condone turning over the video of a cooperating informant to the public. Jeopardizing the safety of a perpetrator and their family to make a deal with prosecutors for a non-violent offense is unjust. Served, but not protected.

@chicagoaustin727 Under the Freedom Of Information Act the state police are required to release them. I like how Natural State Transparency is showing video of how a good cop behaves. 99.9% of all cops are good. But all we see are the videos of the bad ones. “Transparency “is getting to see the good officers too. Don’t want video of your traffic stop published on RUclips, don’t ride dirty.

They have a lot of practice knowing exactly where to look. I’ve seen lots of videos of cops correctly nabbing admitted seatbelt scofflaws.

Shout out to Arkansas State Police Trooper Tanner Hess. GREAT job and courteous professional approach. When searching for the meth, also look for it in liquid form, including what looks like water in a Dixie cup! Really! Anything liquid should be suspect. It's easy to spot the granulated substances, but officers often overlook the liquid contents of cups and bottles, thinking it's just water or soft drink residue. Here it was under the seat. These two fine upstanding Arkansas citizens probably have kids! Dangerous! Let's see if they get some jail time.

In 2024, it's now widely known most police agencies have taxpayer-funded cameras. This interaction isn't any different from someone who flees and has their face plastered all over this channel once they're caught. It's call the CONSEQUENCES for making bad choices. When the trooper says he “freely” came and talked to him, that wasn’t necessarily true. Anytime an officer tells you to come out the car it’s a lawful order and you have to comply. The driver wasn’t given a choice so to whether he had to come out and talk to the trooper. As far as he was concerned the driver had to come to the trooper. He may not have had to tell him bout the meth, but the trooper is playing legal games here and a good lawyer could bring up the interaction in court. There is no way that driver thought he had a choice as to whether he had a choice in coming up to the troopers car and talking to him.

Because this woman isn't in a seatbelt should not constitute a search of private property and his rights to travel without being threatened, intimidated, and forced to offer incriminating evidence upon himself ! He should have read him his rights way before he did because the question was directed at a search and arrest way before the cop told him of his right and gave the lie to the fact he had no intention of helping Jason in any way shape or form, the cop knew this but didn't present himself honestly, so being capable of working with him was a blatant lie, and that makes him a liar no matter what !!

It started out you would only be pulled over as a second offense, No seatbelt, then it went to, 1st offense, then safety checkpoint, to check for seatbelts and try and search your car. Nothing but Big Intrusive Govt!
Total violations of this dudes ignorance to the law and the cop knows it. The guy should have never consented to a search and make them get a warrant. It was an unreasonable search and seizure.
If you say o to search. They’ll get a dog out there and if the dog detects drugs they will search anyway.

Unless the driver gave the cop permission to search the vehicle the search was unlawful. Goes from “Work with me” to a “felony”. DONT ANSWER QUESTIONS
