- Today it was cold, around 6C but with that strong wind it felt like 0c lol
The twin steel elevated water tanks of Tranwell Water Tower are approximately 80ft tall and are located about 3 miles southwest of Morpeth, Northumberland. The airfield and water tank was built during WWII as part of the Royal Air Force Station Morpeth which was home to the No. 80 (French) Operational Training Unit RAF.

I never tried but i believe it is sealed off now to anyone wanting to climb it.
It is probably a lot more dangerous now than it was in 2007 due to rust and metal fatigue, you can however see in the video where the metal fence has been moved so perhaps some people are still determined to be hero's :)

Hi Suki yes it looks like a couple of houses 🤣 I don’t think there will be anything side as it was just used to store water. I don’t think there is any way in now to check. We also have had some poor weather, rain, winds and feeling cold and I don’t think we are out of the woods yet as snow is being forecast next week 🥶 🤗❤️🙏🏻
Greetings from Canada Ray. 🍁 You can tell there’s still a lot of water on the fields. Farmers here are already worried about a drought. Can’t win. If you’re still getting those high winds you were talking about, it might help in drying up the land a bit. Keep your wellies (?spelling) handy. I made the mistake of giving my daughter the two pairs I had. Now I’ll need to buy new ones as the sidewalks are flooded from all the melting snow. Beautiful views with the drone footage. Yes definitely a lot of water, all the rivers are swollen. I didn’t stay long as that wind was sending warnings to my screen. You can see how fast the clouds were moving. I didn’t want to have to borrow your wellies to retrieve dotty drone 🤣 We have more rain forecast the next few days , I think I’m getting webbed feet so the wellies might not fit 🤣🤣🤣 oh heck not Easter…. That’s more chocolate to eat then 🤣😁👍🏻🐣🍫 🤗❤️
